How'd you get the Imperial Britannia title? It's not in the normal game, is it?
Playing with the mod The Prince and the Thane. I originally only started out as the Isle of Mann only to test the features, I continued when suddenly my son and grand son died within the same year to. (in the earlier versions people were dying all over the place, like the plague was going through or something)
It seems Paradox Interactive titles are on sale. Is there any particular game that people would like to recommend?
Everything. Paradox makes great in-deph strategy games. If you dont mind possibly long playtimes, I highly recommend you get at least Crusader Kings II, Hearts of Iron III, or Europa III. Lord knows im picking up what ive missed from them when I can this sale

Hoping EU3 comes on sale...
Krusader Cings 2?
I think the title is misleading. I have not once been in a Crusade.
Hoping EU3 comes on sale... [editline]7th June 2012[/editline] My god the France player failed.
Tell me about it. France is too betamax to war Netherlands for Southern Burgundy, or attempt to reclaim Brest from me. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any reconquest cbs' on any said territory. He doesn't feel like taking the stability hits to war either of us, either. What is even more odd is how France gave up his possessions in the Caribbean to Hannover and headed straight for Africa, and claims that he's not playing to win or anything. Even after I told him repeatedly about Africa stunting technological growth severely. What's even more is France steps in every war against Byzantine and cockblocks them to hell from ever trying to reclaim Roma, which is pointless since he has no business down there and should be expanding elsewhere, like into Asia (Java) and such.
I could have sworn that peasant rebels demand decentralization as well. I could be mistaken, though.
Generally I've seen peasant rebels rise from petitions for redress, which almost always involve moving towards free subjects.

Some of Africa is useful (gold, etc), but yea, most of it is fairly useless.
We should get an EU3 game going. Never played multiplayer.
I think the title is misleading. I have not once been in a Crusade.
The crusade system in Crusader Kings is actually sort of bunk. Crusades aren't really worthwhile to do, since they are so hard and give you so little.

England and great britain are at war with eachother.
IMO, you should have gone for Spanish and French provinces before Africa/Asia, as they are usually more profitable. But otherwise, damn, that's pretty good lol

Non-cheat France world conquest game, I gave it up due to rebel problems. http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1161104&p=36037255&viewfull=1#post36037255
I can't find it in me to continue my game as Britannia. It's not hard to destroy any of my enemies, it's just time consuming now.

Are there any mods or whatever to make Crusader Kings: Deus Vult crash A LOT LESS?
Bavaria is going well, colonised Greenland. Austria managed to claw their way back up to being HRE. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/367iL.png[/img_thumb] Also moved the capital because fuck Munich. (It's 1520)
Anybody have good warfare guide? I've gleaned that you should use Cavalry for hit and run, Combined Arms for attacking, Infantry for defending and Infantry+Artillery (when you get it) for sieging?
Cavalry has the same movement speed as infantry so all-cavalry armies is kinda moot as they have weak morale and can be annihilated fairly quickly in combat. Generally, you always want cavalry with infantry for that Combined Arms bonus. Personally, I compose my armies of 8/4/x or 12/4/x and only split it up if the army suffers high attrition while sieging provinces.

Doing almost everything two years earlier than they were supposed to is fun. Now if I can invade Czheckoslovakia and Poland before dinner I could call it a personal record.
Does the percentage of cavalry affect the combined arms bonus? Also is the offensive shock of a cavalry unit relative to other cavalry units, or all units?
Christ losing all of my saves is the most frustrating thing ever, I had a massive unstoppable empire twice as Netherlands and again as Teutonic order turned to Prussia. I just have a really hard time re motivating myself to get to that point given how long it took, starting from the beginning as Gelre this time to recreate the glorious Dutch empire hopefully this time everything won't break.
No 2 games of EU3 are the same so try to do something different because trying to replicate the same thing just won't work.
Is there a way to turn the alliance limit for AI off (but only for players)?
