Anyone know why EU3 looks so graphically shitty for me? Everyone is posting screenshots and it looks rather nice, but my map looks like it's from 2001 or something. Could it be because I only have up to the Heir to The Throne DLC? Also I'm thinking of getting a new GS game. Is Victoria 2 good? Pride of Nations? Rise of Prussia? (Which didn't get good reviews but still looks interesting to me) Anything in the 1700's-WW1 era would be good.
I personally enjoy crusader kings 2. It's exhilarating to start off as a petty prince who doesn't have a chance at the throne, and to scheme your way to glory.
I already have ck2 and I love it.
Victoria 2 is the next step then. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] I have a steam key for it, if you want.

Pride of Nations is good, but you have to be prepared to tolerate turn-processing times that can take 4-5 minutes. I bought Rise of Prussia half a year ago when it was on discount. Great game for Seven Years' War grognards, but be prepared to be overwhelmed if you're like me; you're also responsible for the actions of all your allies' armies as well.
Why the fuck does the Hanse keep calling me into wars with tiny African states?
Scotland seriously fucking hates me as Ireland. They keep forcing themselves on me. I'm losing land to them because my vassals have been at war fighting infidels + Brittany who got pissed I took some land I had a claim on, so they can't replenish their levies fast enough...The Scots also have about two thousand more men in their army. ;_; *CK2
How do i stop my game from going out of sync? After a while i start not being able to move my armies around, or disband them. Then the game freezes and i have to ctrl+alt+del out and it says the game has stopped responding

It's slightly annoying, though. Especially when the ally doesn't actually attack, and instead just declare war and sit there for several years until white peace.
I need a small mod for me in CK2 that help me auto build my cities for me... I've find it very annoying to build every single building in all my cities.

In my game, Ireland doesn't have that problem, I can kick scotlands ass, but I'm not able to expand to the rest of the british isles.
Hearts of Iron 3 why are you so complicated.
I need a small mod for me in CK2 that help me auto build my cities for me... So I've had a duke that started a rebellion that not only killed tens of thousands of proud loyal soldiers, it also caused us to lose virtually all of the holy land to the muslim invaders and part of england to rebel and declare independence. I have the perpetrator, who's responsible for pretty much singlehandedly shattering the english empire, and despite the amount of trouble he's caused it'd still be tyrranical to even consider executing or even banishing him. Nobles have a real sense of entitlement. I'm pretty sure rebelling against your lord revokes any feudal rights you have.

So they have de Jure claims on some territory. I have been trying so fucking hard to get an alliance, but no king/heir wants to marry my children/me because my alliance is practically worthless in their eyes.
I find it kind of hilarious how long you'll be uncivilized if you start a game as the zulu.
Hearts of Iron 3. Germany annexed by the U.S. in 1942. Okay.
Hearts of Iron 3. Germany annexed by the U.S. in 1942. Okay.
I've never had the AI successfully invade the States or England. [editline]3rd July 2012[/editline] Whoops, that is a lie, I've had Italy invade England once, but I've never had anyone invade the states.

After taking over Iberia as a Muslim ruler, I created the Empire of Spain, then after a while I decided it was time to invade Aquitaine. About a month after I declared war, Pope Alexander II decided to start a Crusade for Aragon. Don't fail me now, Iberian Pseudo-Doomstacks.
GOD. THAT'S EVEN WORSE! LOOK THAT THAT IBERIA! AND THAT FRANCE! AND THAT GERMANIC LANDS! AND THE REST OF EURASIA!
Ok ok I fixed it cool you're tits!!!
Is that England, Great Britain, and Scotland?
