Yes. It spams country capitals on random provinces, then spreads them out via a program until all provinces are occupied. Also here's something from Page 2:

I think CK2+ removes the invasion CB so you can't just take entire countries in one go, but you should be able to holy war for individual duchys or emirates.

Then, years later, a second series of rebellions happened. This time I surrendered the throne to my Uncle, who I'm now going to begin playing as.
fuck Muslim nations and their high decadence
Man I got the random scenario mod working but it's so buggy. The background of the windows will disappear (leaving plaintext 'floating' and leaving me unable to move the windows), certain GUI elements aren't being drawn (corps/army connections), and my sliders disappear in the production window when I lock them. They're still there... they're just invisible when locked.
I'm debating who I want to play as in HoI3. Ireland is my go-to in most strategy games like this. A naval or airborne invasion of northern Germany could be cool.

Minors are recommended to not engage in fights with the big boys unless you got many worthy allies. If you pick Allies as your side when Germany starts attacking everyone on mainland Europe you can be of great use to the Allies by doing things like cutting off supplies, making divergent invasions on the enemy territories in order to distract enemy divisions and infrastructure bombardment to halt their supplies and movement. If possible you should also deploy partisan units in occupied territories of your allied nations.
You can also be a little gamey and use UK or France to annex/puppet countries for your own needs. One guy did an Albanian AAR in which he turned it into a superpower by getting Germany to bully other nations and establish them as Albanian puppets until he got a reasonable military force.

Scout suggested I bring my troops to try to help Amsterdam when war breaks out, which sounds pretty fun. My game crashed when I tried to save though. :suicide:

That's a part of my divergent plan, actually. Stopping the Germans from mowing down Netherlands and entering NW France is the prime way of shifting balance on your side because they'll have to sacrifice more power and weaken their borders in order to punch through.
It's impossible to halt the German cakewalk through the Low Countries. Not without British support at least.
I had a French FTM game going on some time ago. The British stubbornly refused to send any support, until finally they decided to send Belgium some inadequate expeditionary divisions. Unfortunately, by then I was already in full retreat to avoid being completely encircled by German forces rapidly advancing down from North Belgium-Netherlands.

Also, I think CK2 is perfect for getting an idea for writing a story. It leaves so much to the imagination yet it doesn't at the same time.
So I dominate all of South America and I prepare for a land invasion of Mexico. I have like 8 divisions of mountain infantry and two divisions of marines (with a heavy tank brigade for each.) I was expecting a massive brawl out in the mountains of the peninsula but Denmark (Mexico) surrenders after capturing one city.
Now I have three corps of mountain infantry. :v: What do.
Also what are some good division templates?
