Seems like new DLC for HOI3 is coming out soon
http://cdr.thebronasium.com/app/search/p/1/sort:date_updated/direction:desc
The entries from "Peace in Our Time" to "War to the End" are labelled as DLC for HOI3.
I tried searching the names, couldn't find anything.

Any news on East vs West? IIRC, it's a stand-alone HoI3 styled game that involves the cold war.
I'd honestly pay good money for a game that's roughly the same as Victoria 2 in gameplay terms, but its adapted slightly and covers 1936 onwards into the modern era.
I fucking loved Victoria 2's economy. So much better since it's actually an economy compared to EU3
Any news on East vs West? IIRC, it's a stand-alone HoI3 styled game that involves the cold war.
The only news I know of are the dev introductions but that's as far as I know.
They'll release a official announcement for the game by the end of September or so.
Like. Honestly, the only problem I have with Victoria 2's economy is how it handle stockpiles. Even if you're producing 100000 of something, your AI will still buy it from elsewhere.
Is there any console command in HoI3 to change the government type to Left-Wing Radicalism?
No, but I think there are ways for you to make custom events to change a government type, but don't ask me how. You could ask on the official forums, those people are smart-ish.
When fabricating claims in CK2 does anyone know of any way to speed the process up? I know that getting a Chancellor with a high diplomacy skill will increase his chances of success, I'm also fairly certain that a high relation with me also makes him work better, but does anyone else know of any other factors?
There was a theory amongst me and a few others that they're less likely to fabricate if they have the "honest" trait but we never found out if that was actually the case.

I've always found it just the diplomacy trait. In my experience if they have diplo under 10 they take ages, but over 20 and you can usually get two claims a year.
This is why people like EA feel justified to fuck over normal gamers.
Seriously, don't pirate. CK2 has a demo that you could have played to see if you like the game/if it works, so if you seriously pirate, you should already be banned for WareZ.
warez bans arent even permanent.

This part made me chuckle;
Strategy Informer: If you break down March of the Eagles, what are we looking at here? A Napoleonic Hearts of Iron?
Johan Andersson: Yeah… imagine EU and Hearts of Iron having a hot night and 9 months later, this is the result. And then the game goes to the same kindergarten class of Sengoku.
Oh Johan, you have quite the humor. :v:
God damn, savegame editing in Victoria 2 is confusing. I'm trying to recreate the landscape of post-World War I, but when I reassign provinces, they're still named what they used to be called when they were controlled by the other nation (example, French Mozambique if I gave Portugal all of that territory), not to mention other things. Anyone have experience with this?

I think you can only really rename a province by editing the actual game files. Savegame editing only goes so far.

I'm fairly sure you can rename the provinces, based on what I've seen in the save files. But that's not what I was talking about. If I give all core Yugoslavian territory to Yugoslavia (from a 1836 game), the regions would still be called "Turkish Bosnia" or "Montenegrin Montenegro", even if all the territory was controlled by Yugoslavia. Not to mention that the population counters don't work when I try it, as well as some things causing the games to outright crash. :(

Well then I dunno. My game crashed whenever I tried to mod anything beyond simple name changes.

I started a Randomly Generated map on EUIII.

How's that work?
i want that mod
Here you go.
What's nice about that thread is that it starts at the first version and continually links you to the next version, allowing people with any version to play.
[editline]17th September 2012[/editline]
How's that work?
First you set the dimensions (5000x3000 etc) and it generates landmasses based on some slider options. After that provinces, then cultures, then religions, then countries, and then finally the actual landscape. All of which are customizeable with sliders.
Nice. Is it stable, though? I tried a generator for Victoria II and that never lasted more than 5 minutes a time.
Well if you set the dimensions too low, it will run into errors due to missing provinces. However, for the most part it's pretty stable.
[editline]17th September 2012[/editline]
For instance, my game now crashes when I get to a certain date. I have no idea what the date is nor do I know why it is crashing. All I know is that I am going to start over now.
BY THE WAY: The map generator exports into mod format, so there is no need to have any real experience in modding.
In CK2 is it normal for the HRE to collapse all the time? That tends to happen alot in my game and sometimes I join in on the various rebel vassals and help em out.
