You need to stockpile boots too.
1.03 for Darkest hour should be out next week.
Should be good!

Really?
I have never heard of 1.03, what does it add?
Well... too much.
1939, 1943, 1944 and 1945 start dates.
Casualties tracker.
Reworked AI. ( They defend their shores.)
New UI.
Most bugs fixed.
More modding stuff.
Basicly more shit i cant remember but its taken them almost a year to make and is dubbed a expansion rather then a mere patch.
Casualties tracker.
Can it be? ARE THE OLD LEGENDS TRUE?
This was something that greatly extended the replay value of Arsenal of Democracy- at least for me anyway. It was also a great way to judge the effectiveness of your units, by telling you after a battle how many men were lost on both sides. AOD's system also tracked how many trucks, tanks, etc. had been destroyed.
The global casualty tracker was also pretty cool. You could look in and see how many million people had been killed worldwide in the war.
I am very happy to hear this glorious news.

I'm amused by the fact their war exhaustion didn't go skyrocketing from the battle.
Playing modernised Japan in V2 is like being a superhero, had a similar experience like that and omg so much fun

I'm assuming the plebians disliked their Turkish overlords. A lot of nations seemed to be hit by the Jacobins (including France (who was already a democracy :v:) and Austria-Hungary, both of whom were hit hard), but none seemed to get quite as overwhelmed as the poor Ottomans. Also, there were almost 400k in Istanbul not too long after I took the picture.
The turks must have seriously pissed off the population. Not even Austria had that kind of a rebellion in my playthroughs.

This happened not too long after that. A similarly sized uprising happened in France before the Turkish one, I think the Ottomans just got unlucky and swarmed. During the Scramble for Africa, too! :(

I on the other hand, have my army tech more or less maxed out. And since they can't defend against a modernized nation with gas technology, it was a simple walk in the park.
Was just about to make a thread "Crusader Kings 2 V1 - Slaughter you grandchildren, get curb-stomped by Muslims"
Anyway, my son married the queen of Poland and they had some kids. But the queen died and my grandchildren got the Polish throne but the second child's heir would be my son, so I worked to killing them.

Playing Darkest Hour, Germany Kicks the Soviet's ass and they make peace, Lenin is now the Union's Head of State, the country is still Stalinist, their government didn't change. It is 1948

Mind you I started at 1066.
Starting as Poland at 1066 is easy mode. You can easily expand eastward, north, and south because everyone's a fucking heretic.
I just told you, I started as Kiev.
I need to go play my Vicky2 save again and drag it too the end. I'm just afraid too because I haven't played in so long I'm afraid I'll fuck up the economy that I spent hours perfecting.
It will be like when the Kaiser fired Chancellor Bismarck. Everything will go to shit and maybe a war will start somewhere, probably the Balkans.
