NWO mod for darkest hour is very good while you wait for EvW! It has shit tons of content. Say, northern Turkey got invaded by Russia while southern Turkey got invaded by Britain it splits the country it half when WW2 ends. It also supports a Axis victory and plans on adding the space race.

I get that issue for Crusader Kings II.
I asked Tech Support, and after a week and a half of sending back dxdiags, I ended up not being able to play it at all.
God, I remember this error from somewhere. Hmm.
I think it sometimes popped up before I formated my windows. After it, it just stopped.

I had that for a CK2 mod. Just relaunch it and it should work.

It never worked for me. Tech support gave me a $10 refund instead, since they couldn't figure out what was wrong :C
I've had HOI3 for a couple years now and never really played much of it. But man I'm into a game now, currently tactical bombing THE SHIT out of the germany. Russia is being mean to my troops. Man this game is really fun.
I've been having fun my first few days with HoI3 by playing fallen France and just building an underground network spanning all of occupied France and then letting that shit loose mid-1944.
Then all my Partisans get swamped by masses of German/Italian armor and fucking diiiiee. I did hold a chokepoint near the border of Spain, which gave Allied forces a sizable landing zone to spread out and take France from. As a bonus, about a third of German troops in France were mopping up my Partisans around Alsace-Lorraine, so France was a pretty easy, if late, win. I love how you can just make a general and put him in "I can't war, please do it for me" mode. It makes everything a lot easier for a tactical retard like me.

I like to have the general defense/offense line commanded by my general while i command the special ops (Airborne, artillery and naval)

Get a General for EU3, Have high morale, and be careful of War Attrition, If you have too many soldiers that the province can supply, your units will get hammered.
