I hear some people greatly exaggerate on the turn processing times. They're lengthy but I feel like they're not all that bad after the most recent patch it had.

So I got Prussia down to 38th place as Austria but after a year and 2 months they're still a great power.
The current war is Austria (me, war leader) and France vs Prussia and Great Britain (war leader). The war goals are just Admit Hegemony (Austria) and Status Quo (Great Britain)
I've already formed SGF and just need to remove Prussia's GP and finish the war with Admit Hegemony and Add to Sphere.

Okay I need some help with CK2. I married my daughter heir off to a courtier/third in line for a neighboring duchy. I made very sure it was matrilinerial. A few years later when he came of age I got the offer of marriage from the king, checked again and it was listed as a matrilinerial bethrothal, accepted, they were all married. Skip ahead 30 years, my duke dies. My daughter inherits. It immediately pops up with a warning telling me there's no heir.

Wait, what?

I check, and it's listed as a normal fucking marriage. What did I do? How do I edit this in my save?

Positive, this is the only person she's married. The only other thing I can think of is that my daughter's husband plotted to kill me a few years back. To that end, I invited them back to my court so I could demand he end the plot.

Funfact. You can't update it because of problems the creator has been having with mediafire. It sucks.

Alright, I found it. You'll need both the char number of your character and of your spouse, easy enough to find as one links to the other and you can search with birth_date="1066.3.20" or whatever. Towards the end of the save file there's a section on relations and shit, should have names like rel_9959 or diplo_4512 corresponding to a char number. Place this section of code in with the first number corresponding to the husband and the second to the wife.

It works as proven by changing William the Conquerer to a matrilinear marriage. It doesn't change the kids though so you may want to kill them, or change their dynasty.

Jeez, you really fucked up didn't you? Changing a char's dynasty is a lot simpler, there's even a value for it listed right underneath all their other important shit. Once you find them you've got prestige, religion and a code for a particular dynasty, change that to the same as their parent.

Proven by stealing old Willie's son and making sure the Fagballs dynasty lives on.

There's a good chance the first husband died for some reason either through plotting or randomness and the AI being the needy bitches they are get married again while the corpse is still warm.

The AI take no consideration for this kind of shit so it's probably fair game to fix what they fucked.
