romans would win hands down. Roman Legions fight in a very particular way that would be incredibly - if not impossible - to defeat with just men versus men, and considering the technology of the Aztecs, Romans would win by a landslide.
well you did see the aztec doomstacks of 100k men so
well you did see the aztec doomstacks of 100k men so
If it's late game I could actually send a 100K doom stack to counter them fairly easily. There's also 4 regiments in that stack; so if they split up they're fucked.
well you did see the aztec doomstacks of 100k men so
talkin' bout real life. in ck2 yea, sure.
I'd wonder how an MP CKII game would go if people in FP participated.
Pretty horribly, at least for me. I'd sit in Ghana and suck my thumb.
If I was ever in an MP of any Paradox strategy game, I'd be neutral Switzerland, that is if the time period of the game had Switzerland, and they were neutral. [editline]3rd November 2012[/editline] I've done 4 games of Victoria 2 this week, not sure if this is caused by the new Nation Mod, but in only one of those games did America buy Alaska, the rest of the games the UK bought it, and it later became part of Canada.
Wow, the Paradox forums when it comes to Hearts of Iron is nuts. No swastikas allowed at all, not even in mods. No Nazi symbolism, songs, propaganda or imagery allowed. Mods that have carpet/civilian-terror bombing will be blocked. Chemical weapons and real-life war statistics will be removed. You get 2 warnings. What the christ.

I guess it's because Germany is a huge market for these sort of games. europeans love their simulators and grand strategy games.
Well fuck the system, I gots myself a Swastika on my HOI3 German flag.
Don't forget to enslave the Albanians and make factories that convert them into fuel.
Is there a secret website for all of the mods which add fun stuff like genocide?

I'd imagine pulling 100k out of your ass by then would be difficult if not impossible because of money and such. Doing it as a count or a duke is practically impossible unless you hoarded enough cash for mercenaries. If you're someone like the king of France or England you might be able to hoard enough, but post war effects would probably tear you apart. In the long run those with the biggest chance for survival are HRE and whoever forms an empire in the West. [editline]3rd November 2012[/editline]
no? :v:
It's not all that necessary to begin with. Cultural changing in CK2 and EU3 isn't that much of a super vital game mechanic, and HoI3 doesn't monitor population statistics, so it'd be just a varying degree of "you're going to get fucked by everyone around you." However, I think that Victoria 2 kind of uses it to some extent. Population in Africa shifts dramatically without increasing the pop number all that much in colonist territory, and if that's not hinting at massacre then I don't know what it is. There's also a couple of important events in history such as the Armenian genocide which should be a decision by Turkey when all hell breaks loose in it at the cost of a massive infamy hit for the country.
The thing about the HRE though, is that southern half revolts a fuck ton.

Suddenly, France allies with Ottomans and accompanies them into the war. Me and my bro England and Bavaria start to grind through the French when suddenly Prussia takes it upon themselves to launch The Franco-Prussian war. Several years later and many casualties afterwords the war ends with England, having usurped leadership of MY war, suing the French for peace and taking part of the Ottomans and ignoring my sphere-claiming and land claim. Prussians and Bavarians end up claiming entire Normandy Coast and I don't get shit. Good.
I'd wonder how an MP CKII game would go if people in FP participated.
Wasn't there an EU3 game a while ago?
Are you talking about the one where some dude tried to get some FP'ers into his Paradox forum mp game Wasn't that way back in June?

You're almost occupying all the enemy country and they have one tile? Well fuck you they claim that one tile!
Anyone know any good tips for stealing spheres from enemies? Ottomans no longer GP, so I wanna take Serbia, Montenegro, Wallachia, Moldova, etc.
Anyone know any good tips for stealing spheres from enemies? Another tactic I find handy is decreasing the GP's opinion to Opposed so I have no need to worry about them for a while. This would be more reasonable for defending your own spheres from a troublesome GP that's constantly contesting it.
Sorry guys, I hate to bring this up again, but. My taxes for Vicky 2 AHD are still totally screwed up, it keeps jumping around from all needs fulfilled to none in a single day, it never levels out and makes the game almost unplayable as my economy can't level out at all.
Check your tarrifs. It sounds like you're consuming your stockpiles and immediately rebuying (set it to buy more).
Check your tarrifs. It sounds like you're consuming your stockpiles and immediately rebuying (set it to buy more).
It starts as soon I play a new game or load one up, I'll check that though.
I had a weird idea for a Paradox game. It starts in the year 1000 BC, and you play as tribes in Europe. You have to research simple things, like the wheel, bows, metallurgy, etc. The end date for the ancient era is 200 AD, and that's when you begin playing as a more civilized ancient nation. You then have to research the arts, religion, the beginnings of diplomacy and other things, but wars will be more drawn out and serious. That end-date would be 500 AD. Then after that one would be the pre-dark ages/end of rome era, and research would be semi-kaput since you'd be focusing on expansion and war rather than science/piety. You could create your own nation/tribe in the beginning, and the game would have real-world presets while you make your own. It's a pipe-dream that's ridiculously complicated, but I'd love it.

Hmm [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578971143013854977/9CBDD28A92C83853661EDFA5587DA2CD435B1425/[/t]
It starts as soon I play a new game or load one up, I'll check that though.
It's normal when it happens. It's because the game doesn't save pop needs and shit. It's basically ripping out the roots of the game every time you start up a new game/load one up. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7536024/vidya%20gaymes/ck2_10.jpg[/t] First CK2 game I'm actually going to finish. Anyone know if the CK2 EU3 converter is reliable?
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7536024/vidya%20gaymes/ck2_10.jpg[/t]
Your king is so fucking smug
