I use the default texture usually, mostly because I like to know how everyone else will see my construction in multiplayer but I might switch to one of the more realistic packs like doku or something.
Im happy with the default one. I tried a Steampunk one which was good though.
I'm using the default pack, but I edited the glass texture because those little dots really irritated me, so technically it is a custom texture pack.
Last Days for me, since I'm going for a post-apoc theme for my next game. Hard to find mods that compliment it though.
Painterly Custom for life. It makes the game feel so much warmer to me.
Sometimes I switch over to Xaiwaker, though. I think the Wind Waker style fits well with the Minecraft style.

(Also with enough torches it becomes unplayable because they don't have any sort of transparency so everything goes white in its current state)

I use mine, Simple and I know what all the blocks are. It also has references to some threads in this section (RIP Floyd) And it just looks better than Default imo.

Yes and no. I use some defaults, but a lot is taken from other texpacks to get something I like.
I use default with custom glass, cobblestone and glowstone, because they look terrible. So I dunno what to vote for.
I make my own texture pack out of a mish-mosh of other, simpler packs. Packs like Lucidpack, Xenocontendi, etc.

Yes, I often cycle between my custom painterly pack and the lucid pack, they're my favorites.
