I liked it. As a vita owner all that connectivity and fancy stuff is what I'm really looking forward to, as well as playing some of those games in the comfort of my toilet.
Well, it's good that they'll be offering features for all nineteen people that own a vita.
I really wanted the blizzard guy to announce they were resurrecting Starcraft Ghost
I was hoping for some Dark Souls 2 content, I'm sad now.
Deep Down looked pretty similar, looking forward to more info on that
why are you judging a controller based from a picture wait until you feel it and see how well it works before jumping to conclusions
Ugly controllers stay ugly. The triggers look very strange. Screen on the controller... you aren't meant to look at your peripherals, they are supposed to be seamless.
The entire next generation has [sp]nogaems[/sp]
Ugly controllers stay ugly. The triggers look very strange. Did you even watch the stream?
Ugly controllers stay ugly. The triggers look very strange. Screen on the controller... you aren't meant to look at your peripherals, they are supposed to be seamless.
IIRC its a touch pad not a touch screen
- x86 should have been native x64, this is supposed to be next gen
I'm sure it has support for x86-64.
- actually showing what the console looks like and a price point
Why would either company do that this early? Neither is going to show their cards until the launch is close.
Ugly controllers stay ugly. The triggers look very strange. Screen on the controller... you aren't meant to look at your peripherals, they are supposed to be seamless.
i thought he said touchpad not screen oh ninjas
Ugly controllers stay ugly. The triggers look very strange. Just wait till you get your sweat nerd mitts on them before passing judgement of a controller who cares what it looks like.
The entire next generation has [sp]nogaems[/sp]
No, the next gen has no console, get it right.
I kind of hope the next CoD gets released on this, for Sony's sake, and they don't miss it. Otherwise they will lose a lot of money.
Well, after this conference (The exact opposite of the embarrassing 2006 conference I should say), I'm fully convinced that the PS4 is my choice of console this generation. Bye Xbox! The only thing that will convince me even more is seeing Valkyria Chronicles 4 on PS4.
It didn't have a screen. It was a touch pad similar to the Vita back pad. Did you even watch the stream?
Wait what, that huge black thing ISN'T a screen? Awfully clunky then.
I wanted to see the PS4 but hell i guess this was good enough
Best bit for me was the new killzone demo. It looked genuinely next gen.
I wanted to see the PS4 but hell i guess this was good enough
snip You edited your post to fast.
Best bit for me was the new killzone demo. It looked genuinely next gen.
I missed the first hour, I guess I missed a lot. That sounds awesome.

"I never thought I would see Master Chief at a PlayStation conference" [del]Best[/del] Only good Geoff Keighly quote ever.
Best bit for me was the new killzone demo. It looked genuinely next gen.
Killzone and Watchdogs made this conference for me.
I'm sure it has support for x86-64. Why would either company do that this early? Neither is going to show their cards until the launch is close.
It's either proper x86 or x64... And your traditional console launch shows off the flipping hardware you're talking up.
I liked Watch_Dogs. I can't find a Youtube mirror of it though. I couldn't see what was going on in the livestream cause it started getting really choppy and laggy at that part, so I was looking for a more optimized version.
The controller is looking a bit more ergonomic like the 360 controller, I like that.
Microsoft have a golden opportunity now, they could shred the ps4 if they put themselves to it. There's a few things Sony could have done better. - x86 should have been native x64, this is supposed to be next gen - the controller could have been done a lot better - actually showing what the console looks like and a price point - actually showing a decent amount of gameplay
Why should it have been x64? If the system memory is evenly split between the GPU and CPU, neither one will ever exceed 4GB. It could have been used as a bragging point, but there's no actual purpose
Killzone and Watchdogs made this conference for me.
Yeah that game is gonna be brilliant.
I went on to /v/ where i usually dare not tread and wow they are so mad that the console wasn't shown holy shit.
well /v/ is shit storming over the share button on the controller
Well I guess time to sleep. Night all.
I was most impressed by that sculpturing stuff from MM. Looked like a Pixar Movie.
