Dungeons of Dredmor - Games

Man this game is great. Any other game, if I die and lose all my progress, I give up, but I just want to keep coming back to this one!

Monster zoos are easy to defeat... just find some 1x1 place so you only have to fight one at a time.

I used a Satanic teleport pad, and it dropped me off in a bigass monster zoo on level 2. Worst of all a Batty was the one that got the last hit, so now my best character was "killed by a batty". That's just embarrassing.

Can anyone help? I turn off permadeath yet once I have saved and die I stay dead and lose my save.

So those class bar (Warrior, rogue and wizzard) things in your character sheet that you fill by choosing specific skills dont have any effect at all? They just show you your progress?

Has anyone figured out how to open the Uberchests?

Look around for a lever then go back to it.

There's only one lever on the entire level and it has no effect on it.

Maybe you need to finish the entire level before it opens?

I have, I came back to the Uberchest at the end of the level to try and figure out how to open it, and now I've gone through the entire level again looking for the lever and I can only find the one. What's strange is I can operate that level freely, it doesn't get stuck, but it doesn't open the chest...

Those quest bosses are pretty tough, he took 10 hitpoints in one hit. I was lucky and managed to stun him after his second attack, though. Was a piece of cake, after that.

Phew, I manged to kill them all without dieing. Leveled up twice too.

I bought this game yesterday but I didn't have a chance to play it yet. I have a problem though, the mouse seems to be moving really slowly, it feels like it's lagging. Is it the game itself or is my PC acting up?

The fireball spell is SO useful, I just cleared a monster zoo with it.

Dual wielding + Swords/Axes/Maces + Assassination + Deadshot + Berserker Rage + Burglary + whatever. (I choose Vampirism) I personally think this is the best perk choice.

I'm liking it, but I feel it could be better.
