I want to sell my collected items, I have found a shitload of them but I don't want to simply drop them.
We need some kind of npc which buys all the crap out of you for a small price, or else it would be overpowered. You could simply sell anything for a high price and hoard a shitload of money.
You can just sell your stuff to the shopkeeper by dragging it on him.
Ninjaed
Holy shit, I love you guys.
I thought you had to buy something and that slot could be replaced with one item. Thanks for that.
Or turn it into fishy snot with the lutefisk cube.
So I'm having a hard time deciding which weapon to use. I've completed Level 4 of the dungeon except for a monster zoo and I need to clear that and head to level 5. I can either stick with my current weapon, switch to a weapon I've found, or purchase a weapon from the shop, but in doing so I'll be practically out of cash.
These are the three weapons I've found;

Also here are my current stats without any weapons equipped and my selected skills for the character;

Oh I also still have an anvil available to use, so whichever I choose will be upgraded with said anvil.
I know am real late, but that weapon in the middle with the existentialist damage is god-like.
Also, I used 3 anvils on an awesome sword I found (12 slashing at lvl 1 lol)... but then the three enchants were curses and now it's basically useless... :/

That's the one I went with, and I got a nice roll with some more existentialist damage and crit chance.
Also here's a tip;
If you save before you use an anvil, you can close the game through task manager if you get a bad roll. This allows you to re-roll your item if you end up with some bad debuffs.

Yeah but thats silly and defeats the point of taking the risk

It kinda ruins it.
I mean, sure a streak of 3 curses is annoying, but cheating is kinda bad and makes the game less interesting.
My best character, Zed, who destroyed 2 entire monster zoo, disappeared due to random crashes.
fuuuuuuu

- Fifty New Achievements
- Steam Overlay Support, yea, though it is Experimental and Requires your Graphics Card To Support OpenGL
- In-game Leaderboards, Yea, For Messing With Your Friends
- Magnification of UI elements to TWICE their Size (Yea, Though We Know Not How Far We Can Get With This In The Allotted Time, Though We Are Working On It)
Oh my god, yes.
Started a new character with dualwielding staffs. Works pretty well actually. Also, i found a bolt of mass destruction in the very first room which sold for 6000+ gold. Lucky me :v:
Is it better the dualwield 2 weapons from the same type or mix them up?
I wondered if it changes the attack drastically. So I don't need to take 2 weapon skills at the beginning.
I've got most of the enemies, skills and items stuff figured out for this, but my mind is full of fuck when it comes to the map stuff :saddowns:
Just made a necromantic vampire jones.
Very strong so far. Can't wait for my first monster zoo so i can level up more.

Good thing about have 2 different weapons equiped is that both weapons can trigger their special attacks, so you have double the chance to trigger a special.
At least, thats how i think it works.

Also, defeated my first monsterzoo on my dual staffs build. :v:
The item naming system in this game.
I just found a necklace called 'Frijaf, the CAPTAIN OF DEATH'
Boasting a terrifying +1 mana regeneration.
I created a character with the sole purpose of surviving everything. Dual wield shield, unarmed, vampirism, better armor and shroom growing. If I get low, I can just summon the mushroom beast to eat.
Found a really good setup so far, on level two, powering mobs with ease, Swords, Dual Wielding, Berserker Rage, Deadshot, Viking wizardry(vampirism might've been better here), Assassination and Archaeology.
I want to make some kind of knight/mage hybrid. But Magic sucks with heavy armor and I wit hall the needed skills to make this build viable, I can't take a craft skill.

While playing as non magic user i found that there's just too many bottles everywhere that went unused.
Even if your magic is nerfed i am pretty sure some magic comes in handy every now and then. Like area damage spells.
I found this scroll in level 3.
'Here lies the tomb of the unknown hero. He came from another world and departed out too soon. His deeds were many legendary. We put his rocket launcher somewhere safe'.
Good god what.
I'm starting to notice that all the games that have been getting my attention this year and late last are indie games. Good or bad thing?
Also, I hope the patch comes out tomorrow. I'm too afraid to lose my progress again...

Indie games also seem to get more frequent updates and the userbase actually has a say in what the next update should contain(some games).

Yeah, but at the same time, it's kind of sad, because it shows the big companies aren't as great as they used to be. Eh, not too big of a deal, as long as I still have fun video games, it works for me. And I enjoy paying people who are reasonable with their prices. Especially when they deserve it.
The rising popularity of indie games like this is definetly helped by their being featured on steam.

What does This Translation is All Wrong! do?

Re-rolls the stats on an artifact.
Im on level 2 now with Paladius, sword and shield user, tank elements, astrology for extra holiness, and shroomgrowing just because because I can. Crafting can go to hell, I sell everything except my precious schrooms and lutefisk box. Currently massacring everything, but unfortunately my slime can't cope with my extreme holiness and kills himself. At least I'm poison resistant.
