Let's not moan. They said they are trying to release the patch when they've fixed the bugs with it. Which is good. I'd rather have a dev do that, than a dev releasing the patch, then 4 or 5 updates afterwards to deal with bugs introduced with the patch *cough*NOTCH*cough*.

More like Valve.
More like Valve.
No, Notch actually fixes those bugs. Valve just sorta leaves them until it can be arsed.
Notch's bugs are usually more game breaking though.

It's a reference to this

If someone didn't know where that reference was from, they don't deserve to own a computer.
Mine was better, the stats over lapped each other from the amount of buffs on it and I couldn't see what any of them were any more.
I need some serious help. I accidentally picked up a wizard's sleeve in Brax's shop and accidentally equipped it. How do I remove it?

pics or it di- nah I believe you :V:
Don't worry I'm still buffing it. I just hope I don't get any negatives one again. You do not know how much it fucked me over getting a negative resistance of minus 1 to toxic and minus 2 to ethereal in the second floor.
looks pretty fun :) maybe i will try it out
That does happen, the higher the rank of a crafting skill you have the bigger batches of items you can make with the same ingredients.
As a smith and tinkerer finding iron is like finding gold.

You better be a tinkerer/perceptive as well because those trap based debuffs look nasty.

Traps will fuck you up. :(
Edit:
Why does everyone pile all their anvil enchants on a single item? If you spread them out, you don't get fucked over as much when you get a horrible curse that pretty much ruins the item.

Yeah I am so I get crazy trap detections as well. I've got no problem with traps. I detect them as soon as I walk into a room. That also had me worried for a bit since it's such a high number, but it doesn't actually do much in practice.

Well I told myself I'd dump it all on my fedora since I decided to roleplay a bit. Indy would never leave behind his hat, so I decided I wouldn't either. So I just make it the best fucking hat possible. I might actually start working on other things because at this point it's about as good as it'll get and I'm worried I might get a horrible resistance debuff or something.

Yeah, I started getting a lot of curses, so I've started spreading out the blessings. A super-item is positively worthless if it's got even one bad debuff, like that Trap-Sense curse. I'm beginning to wonder if there's something that effects your chances of Krong blessing or cursing an item.
I think they should give the crafting skills more non-crafting utility, tinkering already has the huge trap related buffs as well as savvy buffs, but smithing and alchemy only give burliness and sagacity.
Maxing out the crafting skill should probably give you some other effect too, tinkerer already makes you nigh invulnerable to traps, maybe smithing could give you better chances of not getting cursed on an anvil of Krung since you're probably pretty cool in his books, maybe maxing alchemy could let you use a potion as a free action? Probably need a cooldown on that though.
C'mon Valve, Do not disappoint, we want to play this patch!
Can't wait for this patch! Bought it when I saw this thread on Page 1, addicted ever since. Promethean magic using, staff wielding, blood mage alchemists unite! Well maybe just me.
So far, on floor 3, fighting lots of Djinnis, doing like 6 damage types every melee hit thanks to glorious Krong!
