I want to buy the soundtrack again, it's so fucking amazing. The tunes are catchy and stuck in your head forever. A good thing is that there are plenty of them, so you won't be annoyed of them to fast. Spelunking in style is the best song.
My scores don't seem to upload to the steam leader boards, weird.
So how do you grab something when it spawns like this and you have no teleport powers? You just have to use it on an angle, like the Knight in Chess.
That aqua regia thing or whatever it's called killed me once.
As far as I know, the potions don't even kill you, unless you're at low health. They just give you negative effects like 'acid burn' and stuff. There's also only four or so that have those effects.

Save fix is out, doesn't work for me on mac though. Perhaps it's still Windows only, and the OSX stuff hasn't showed yet.
Anyone willing to gift me a copy, please? I have been playing Roguelikes for years and I really want this game. :s
Anyone willing to gift me a copy, please? I have been playing Roguelikes for years and I really want this game. :s
For fucks sake Plasma, Stop asking! Can't you take the hint already? NO! Ask in the generosity chat, or enter some raffles on Steamgifts, because I think it has been made clear from the last however many times you asked, that we're not gonna get it you in here.
Anyone willing to gift me a copy, please? I have been playing Roguelikes for years and I really want this game. :s
So you haven't bought the game, but have been playing it? :yarr:
So you haven't bought the game, but have been playing it? :yarr:
Just tried it at a friend's place. I don't go YARR on cool games. And, okay Deiru, no need to be mean. :(
So you haven't bought the game, but have been playing it? :yarr:
He said roguelikes in general, not necessarily meaning this one.
He said roguelikes in general, not necessarily meaning this one.
No, he's been posting in this thread repeatedly about him playing it. Such things like trying to steal from brax, and crafting, and his favourite skill combination.
No, he's been posting in this thread repeatedly about him playing it. Such things like trying to steal from brax, and crafting, and his favourite skill combination.
Okay, that's what what I get for only reading that post. Never mind.
I won't beg anymore. So let's get over this, plox. Next post will discuss the new save fix.
I'm not buying this whole "Played at my friends" thing. He seems to go to his friends an awful lot.
I'm not buying this whole "Played at my friends" thing. He seems to go to his friends an awful lot.
Well, I don't have the game either, but I really do play at my friends account. I come over at his house every couple days. Not so weird imo.
just got this game, tis a fun one.
I'm not buying this whole "Played at my friends" thing. He seems to go to his friends an awful lot.
It doesn't even matter, talk about the game instead.
So, which do you guys think is better, ley lines or blood magic? I can never decide which to use.
So, which do you guys think is better, ley lines or blood magic? I can never decide which to use.
I've always used blood magic, but not sure if it's better...I've never really had a successful mage character. Just call me Fumblemore I suppose.
Why is this game so addicting dfgdfgf
Just call me Fumblemore I suppose.
Yogscast reference, classy. I always go with a dualwielding vampire. They're really fun to play and they usually make it to the 4th or 5th floor.
Is this worth picking up? I've played Rogue-likes on and off and have found them fun, but I'm not sure about this one yet.
Save fix is out, doesn't work for me on mac though. Perhaps it's still Windows only, and the OSX stuff hasn't showed yet.
I was talking about the mac update rather than the fix for the update. Because i obviously can't have broken saves if there's no update yet.
I won't beg anymore. So let's get over this, plox. I've played Rogue-likes on and off and have found them fun, but I'm not sure about this one yet.
Yes it's brilliant.
Yogscast reference, classy. I always go with a dualwielding vampire. The first few enemies can be dangerous if you don't pay attention since you can't heal normally but boy once you have a few good items under your belt you can take on a monster zoo blindfolded.
Just call me Fumblemore I suppose.
I can imagine "SHIT" being a realistic thing for a mage to call out in this game.
Is this worth picking up? I've played Rogue-likes on and off and have found them fun, but I'm not sure about this one yet.
It's mostly comedy and can be as casual or hardcore as you want it to be. The thing that sets it apart from most roguelikes tho is that there are no unidentified items. If you find a wand it will not necessarily tell you what exactly it does but it will do that same thing on every playtrough. You also can't do a lot of the wacky stuff you can do in roguelikes such as nethack. For example dipping stuff in potions and throwing items (unless they're designated as throwing weapons) is impossible. If you aren't a huge fan of roguelikes but do enjoy them every now and then it should be perfect because it's not so much about mastering an encyclopedic knowledge rather than just being generally smart and having fun. Plus it's cheap so why the hell not?
