someone title next thread "Lutefisk for Lutefisk God" :v: I managed to get to level 4 and I'm running out of food
What the hell does Lutefisk do anyway? I dumped 10 pieces for him and I got squat. Greedy bastard.
Ugh, I guess I'll have to wait to craft things until the DOD wiki is actually up and running, I'm guessing some of the crafting recipes are wrong.
What the hell does Lutefisk do anyway? I dumped 10 pieces for him and I got squat. Greedy bastard.
I dumped 2 so far, so no idea. Right now I have to chop the whole zoo on the level 3

Massive zoo of murderous creatures in front of you. Does he care? Nope, just gonna tap away on this.
I died, the purple guy in voodoo mask got me. [editline]25th July 2011[/editline] But what I will do now, I need some proper mass destruction bolts.
What the hell does Lutefisk do anyway? I dumped 10 pieces for him and I got squat. Greedy bastard.
You need to give him like 20-30. He will give you an artifact that smells like fish. [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] I have never actually used a wand. Even when I'm about to die, I just feel like they're too valuable to waste.

I once gave him 3 lutefisks - and he gave me an item. (Not sure, but it might be a random amount) I usually don't bother with the damn lutefisk god - he'll just give me wrong spec items which are shit at that.
Screw that. I once had to give 70 before it gave me a smelly bandana. I gave up on the lutefisk business.
Next Zoo at the very beginning of level 4, fuck my life.

I guess he just likes you more.
I just love the sound the Lutefisk Cube makes. SOM!
Is there a place where I can get a demo of this?
I know there's like a number you have to hit per individual statue to get a reward for lutefisk shrines, but does it give you a bonus if you dump in more than what was required? I saved up 300+ lutefisk, and dumped it all in a shrine and I got a crude iron helm with +10 to strength and savvy, and +1-7 on random damages, but it had all the negatives of a regular crude iron helm still, it was awesome, but I died to a double monster zoo the next level.
I just love the sound the Lutefisk Cube makes. SOM!
It's "Skol!"
It's "Skol!"
It's "Skål!"
It's "Skål!"
They spell it skol in the game files, in an unused sprite.
Stupid thaumite nests.
Rune of Exploding is OP as hell. I love it, also getting the hang of this wizarding thing
I like using runes of exploding with my fire resistance at 6, then just walking through the flames like a terminator, unscathed, while my enemies char to a crisp.
runes of exploding allow for easy as hell monster zoo's
runes of exploding allow for easy as hell monster zoo's
It can be a bit difficult in crowded areas since you can't place Runes underneath monsters.
It can be a bit difficult in crowded areas since you can't place Runes underneath monsters.
What I did was shut the doors leading into the zoo, then filled the adjacent room with runes, only giving myself a 1-space path to walk to the door :v:
Rune of Exploding is OP as hell. I love it, also getting the hang of this wizarding thing
That skill tree is getting nerfed I believe.
I hate how I can waltz into a monster zoo at dungeon level 2 as a mage with shit gear and walk out alive, but I go in as a warrior with super crafted gear and die every time
That skill tree is getting nerfed I believe.
Well then I hope other trees get buffed because there's really no other workable magic tree besides Golemancy, and that's really more of a support skill.
Well then I hope other trees get buffed because there's really no other workable magic tree besides Golemancy, and that's really more of a support skill.
Psionics is good IMO.
Psionics is good IMO.
What comes after the Shove ability? Never leveled it up past there.
The Tiki guys on level 5 really taught me that you need an escape spell. I figured I'd be able to chop through everything with my super awesome vampire warrior, and I could. Then I ran into a monster that could blind me so I couldn't see the monsters, turning me into a punching bag.
http://dungeonsofdredmor.wikia.com/wiki/Psionics
Pretty neat, I may work this into my next mage build instead of Golemancy.
