Gentlemen, one of us does not belong.
When in werediggle form do you lose all your human skills like vampirism, artful dodger, assassination and the sorts?
Like assassination won't trigger the especial attacks anymore?
This new expansion is amazing, I had trouble trying to stop playing before, now it's even worse.

I haven't tested everything, but you appear to keep all of your passive stuff, you just can't activate any new skills.
I love dungeons of dredmore and this is clearly not the best time to not have any money.
So my friend is in a peculiar predicament. He went into one of those Mysterious Teleporters (that bring you to random levels labeled level 0) and can't get back to level 1. Anyone know what to do?

I died in level 0.
So uhhh....yeah.

Yer i got fucked up in level 0 aswell.
Anyone seen the Skyrim references yet? I saw a diggle say "FUS RO DAH!" and my friend saw one say "I've fought diggles more fearsome than you!"
So yer i found a statue that gave me a buff called Diggle God Of Secrets and I cant see anything.
Recently started playing this, any recommendations for melee build?
Farthest I've gotten so far is 6th dungeon level with Sword Mastery, Master of Arms, Shield Bearer, Smithing, Berserker Rage, Burglary, and Fungal Arts. Considering switching out Berserker Rage since it didn't seem all that useful (but then again I didn't upgrade it at all) and Fungal Arts (again, I didn't upgrade it at all, but the mushrooms seemed fairly useless later on apart from for selling).

I enjoy dual wielding staff setups, original and really effective. Unarmed combat with dual shields works nicely too.

Berserker rage gives random combat bonuses which is good if you keep forgetting to cast stuff. You might be better off with something more active seeing as you have nothing that really uses mana. Viking magic for example might be worth checking out.
Alternatively if you want to keep your character completely magic free, assassination offers a few passive bonuses that might help in a fight.

Got the farthest with this build myself. The start can be a bit difficult but if you keep putting points to unarmed it pays off.
So far, this is my favorite set of teleporter pads.

(Hint: Those pads tele to each other)

That's nothing. I've had tele pads that are both on the same square.
All right so how do I make diggle nog?
All right so how do I make diggle nog?
start as an alchemist, buy/find some grog, get a diggle egg and craft it from the bottom of the potion creator thing
All right so how do I make diggle nog?
Right, if you want to do this the easiest way possible, then start off with the Alchemy skill. This gives you 2 of the items you need.
You need a Porta-Still, some Aqua Vitae, Some Grog, and a Diggle Egg.
Porta-Still and Aqua Vitae are given automatically due to alchemy skill, and Grog and Diggle Eggs can be randomly found in the dungeon. Once you got the grog and diggle eggs, then right click on your Porta-Still, and click the button to take you to the very bottom of the list. The last item on that is the diggle nog, so click on that and it should give you the nog and the achievement.
Well I tried dual-wielding and swords and it seems to be working well now, although I probably got extremely lucky. By dungeon level 4 I already have a Katana (smithing) and that Self Righteous Sword of White Lies (Brax), along with nice crafted rings and aluminum gear.
Seems smithing has definite paths after you get used to it, at least for warrior builds:
Steel => Weaponry
Aluminum => Gear
Iron/Silver/Gold => Shield
and then if you get steel left over you use it to try to make that Serpentine armor.
I made some digglenog, got no achievement, and no unlock on the store :'(

I literally did it just now. Wait a while and it should come up.
Got this in the sales, best goddamn use of 86p ever.
Well my run started out great.
Found some arrows that sold for over 30000
And then....

Monster Zoos. You'll have to deal with them eventually, I recommend running to the nearest 1 tile wide passage, and then beating everything to death.

They're manageable for the most part when you find a 1-tile width passage like Deiru was saying, but can become pains in the ass when a lot of the monsters have ranged attacks, like those Djinn and Octos, and you may have to retreat a little if your health is low and you meet one of those shiny champions.
I found one full of Witchy's.
They make it so that you can't see shit, blast you with their magic, then why you do kill one of them, they instantly get resurrected by their buddies.
I like how the DLC has changed my gameplay a lot though. Now a lot of the time when I see a monster zoo, it's not so much rush to a 1 tile wide passage, it's more like "Turn into diggle, and sneeze at the ranged monsters"
So I started up a run to get the digglenog present, and because I thought I would die soon anyways, I just continued playing.

Turns out it's my best run yet on dwarven. (I've only had 4 runs so far. :v:)
My helmet:

Demonology is pretty useful for monster zoos, the level 3 skill or so gives you radical buffs as long as you don't move. Shame that you're bound to run out of booze for mana or food for health.

That be nothing.
I had a katana and a knightly sword by level 2. Both artifacts with 2 Existential and +2 Melee power. Respectively.
