Couldn't that Sagan power be abused by always spamming mines and walking over them? It'd essentially be a limitless supply of healing items.
You can make it cost a lot of mana I guess
Or a huge cool down.
Couldn't that Sagan power be abused by always spamming mines and walking over them? It'd essentially be a limitless supply of healing items.
It'd probably kill you if you walked into it, plus it has a cooldown of 80 turns.
Just died on level 10... I have no words
Bookcase... y u always give me recipe i cant use!?
Ha, got a Monster Zoo as a wizard at one of those rooms with the levers that teleport you in a circle around the island in the middle.
After the latest patch game suddenly started to crash randomly. Uncool.
The Staff of Immaculate Conceptualization seems worse than the Jingly Jangly staff even though you need a recipe for it.
Dungeons of Dredmor? More like Duneons of ohshityeahimdoinggreatuhohmonsterzoowheredidthatbattycomefromfuckimimcornerednowohgodwhereisallmyhealthgoingohshitfuckwhatdoidonowimatlevel8pleasedontletmedienowohgooditeleportedawayohfuckanoctohitmegodnoidiedonlevel8fuckingkillmenowifeellikemyveinsarefillediwthnothingbutgasolineaaaaaimsomadiwannakickmyowndick-mor
I can't even read that.
I can't even read that.
I can, but it isn't worth reading. "Dungeons of Oh shit yeah, I'm doing great. Uh oh, monster zoo. Where did that batty come from. Fuck! I'm I'm cornered now. Oh god where is all my health going oh shit fuck what do I do now? I'm at level 8, please don't let me die now! Oh good, it teleported away. Oh fuck an Octo hit me. God no, I died on level 8! Fucking kill me now, I feel like my veins are filled with nothing but gasoline. Aaaaa! I'm so mad I wanna kick my own dick-mor."
Huh. That's a negative way to look at the game. I have a Dagger called something like "Grnutoff of Evil Cereals", you can't really go wrong with a cereal dagger now can you? I can be a cereal killer now. (ba-dum ching)

You have died!".
I got the lucky pick skill and immediately find about 20 picks lying around. GODDAMMIT.
Oh god, oh god HNNNG. First floor, find imperial boilerplate armor and a magnetronic shield in a shop. I took emomancy so I stole them with ease. Second floor, I'm frustrated because I haven't found a single shop in the 99% of the floor I've gone through. The last 1% is a shop with a goddamn CrownStar Addendum on it. I'm set for the entire dungeon, pretty much.
Ingot Grinders are such a pain to find.
But once you do you're set for food, pretty much. Also Cheesy Omelettes are better to make than deep omlettes.
What luck, I manage to remember the rune combination for a crafting vending machine, and immediately steal an Ingot Grinder from it. [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] That 88 grated worth of cheeses was taking up a lot of room.
SO i equipped the King in Yellow. Every time I attacked abig explosion happened around me. It damaged me as well. Is this normal for acidic damage?
What is an good archer build? What perks are the most useful for such a character?
I'd imagine having unarmed, tinkering and of course archery would be nice. Unarmed is used because the damage you get from the skills also apply to ranged attacks. Tinkering and archery work well together allowing you lots of ammunition. No idea for the other 4 abilities.
SO i equipped the King in Yellow. Every time I attacked abig explosion happened around me. It damaged me as well. I think necromantic resistance negates it. j-factor.com/dredmorpedia/
So I made some bits for a mod that will allow alchemists to cleanse corruption. It works, it is just a little too powerful right now. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5293778/O2Cleanse.rar Bonus:
What is an good archer build? What perks are the most useful for such a character?
Psionics for shove is also very useful. And tinkering for bolts and crossbows.
If you want to make archery useful, take unarmed and bows, dualwield tomes.
Are tomes and orbs considered shields or weapons? If they're shields then dual wielding won't give you bonuses. Unarmed doesn't work with dual wielding either.
Are tomes and orbs considered shields or weapons? If they're shields then dual wielding won't give you bonuses. Unarmed doesn't work with dual wielding either.
They're neither.
How do I install mods? That Atheist Monk will be the first one I'm going to try.
Are tomes and orbs considered shields or weapons? If they're shields then dual wielding won't give you bonuses. Unarmed doesn't work with dual wielding either.
What I mean is, take unarmed and bows. Then just equip tomes in both hands. Their damage will contribute to ranged damage, and so will the unarmed damage. As long as you don't have a weapon itself equipped in your hands, your unarmed bonuses will apply.
Lost a 5 hour run. Damn you compulsion to use permadeath!
