so I made it to dungeon level 7 of diggle gods with an unarmed fighter, and THE GAME CRASHED.
And it didn't even give me a fucking autosave, I'm annoyed.
this is the best I've done too.
Happened to me at level 9 back when we didn't have the Diggle Gods expansion. I was just descending stairs to level 10 too when it happened.
What does the symbol all the encrustments have next to them do? Some have 5 of it, some have 40, but I don't understand what it does
From my experiences, I'd have to guess it's how unstable it makes it, higher numbers appearing to make the items more unstable. Just a guess, but it seems about right.
So did the new expansion kill old saves or something? I mean, I did have perhaps 10 or so mods on it so that's probably it, but when I try to load my old save it just pushes me back to the main menu.

If I recall I read on the forum that it's the chance of the weapon becoming unstable, as in 6% chance of getting first stage unstable.
Also they stack so watch out for that too.

What about armour, what happens when that's unstable?
Weapon stability is something I can't wait to be clarified...When my weapon was "Slightly" unstable, it would poison my enemy, and curse them with that "Lucky shot" thing too...I put on one crust with a 4 "Unstability" rating according to the thing, and it went to Highly Unstable, and started blowing up for huge damage to myself each time.
As for armour stability...I'll try that out when I next load up.

It might be the same thing as weapons just when you receive damage or something.
Also, I was playing a clockwork knight and had tons of explosive/fire resistance while having unstable clockwork ravagers. Every time I hit something I got hit with an explosion that did no damage to me but would do a decent amount of bonus damage around myself to enemies so sometimes unstable weapons can be useful.
Krom was pleased and enchanted my dagger with explosive damage.
Now whenever I sneak crit something I blow my face off trying to attack :v:

*light stab* "KA-FUCKING-BOOM AND HERES SOME POISON DAMAGE FOR THE HELL OF IT"
Guys, I tried to make my weapon more stable, and now it's no longer highly unstable. It is now "DANGEROUSLY" unstable.
I'm afraid to use it...

I used it. I died. Looked like a bolt of squid affect.
is there a way to stop the crashes on trying to load saves?
Evil clones are the bane of my existence.
By the looks of things, they still haven't fixed the veil in the warlock skill tree.
Yay....
Suit Up from Master of Arms skill tree was buffed, it now gives 12 instances instead of 2. If only you could renew them instead of having to get hit...

I've actually found them much easier to deal with on a rogue build. Sneaking around them lets you get a few hits, and sneak off before they hit you. Rinse and repeat a bit, and you eventually get 2 dead evil clones.

Well they smash my wrymling to dust before liquidizing my face, so mage build isn't working.
Also, I need to stop myself using the thaumite swarm spell. Every time I use it I kill myself.
Wish they'd fix the Steam overlay not working. I want to play at 1080p fullscreen but alt-tabbing to see the Steam chat is so annoying.
Well, after starting a new game (old saves were borked somewhat due to updates but oh well), I can say that I quite like the Pocket Dimension; it allows me to store more than I can carry, so I can leave most of my stuff in there so I can pick up other things, like shoes and ships and sealing wax, like cabbages and kings. The tune is very much reminiscent of Brink of Time from Chrono Trigger, and it really helps me chill out.
Spears are kinda cool too; that line-hitting jab technique is actually kinda useful in a corridor.
I only have diggle gods and the free DLC, yet I have some of the things that are apparently from the new expansion like pocket dimensions and evil clones. What gives?

They added part of that content for free in the main game.
I wish my old save wasn't borked. I'm going to miss my Overpowered Mace of Imbalance and it's 50 crushing damage.
Just bought the complete pack on steam !
You guys think I can load this onto a USB? I want to be able to play it at work on days my boss isn't in :v:
[del]If you have the Humble Bundle version you can, but then you cant have the DLC[/del]
I was corrected by Lomme, you apparently can launch the Steam version without Steam

I have a ton, but remember guys, always check that the portal is BLACK
if it is red, you are headed to Diggle Hell.
Best thing about grafitti, if you are surrounded by enemies and are going to die, go into the pocket dimension, enter a floor 1 grafitti and heal back up to re-enter the main floor with all the enemies at their old hp.
Useful for taking down dredmor.
Also, does anyone know what the bomb does, i maxed communism (and apart from not getting the achievement) got the bomb.

It hurts.
hey uh, whats the last floors tileset look like? I managed to get to the floor with the basement like walls with some kinda fungus growing at the top, and one of the floors before that was some kinda ice place.
Level 6 is Fungal, Level 7 is Ice, Level 8 is the Mines, Level 9 is Firey, Level 10 is a like an Evil Dungeon. Don't know about Level 11 to 15
Got a problem with my credit card currently, I'll toss someone the orange box/dino d-day/the ship for the new expansion :v: Think I have nuclear dawn too somewhere.
