Is Odin a new game? Or is it Dwarves and technology in DoD?
I think it's a new game, they posted some 3D models of machines. People assume it's probably some kind of RTS, possibly a bit like Dwarf Fortress.
A steampunk Dwarf Fortress kind of game with machinery would be damn cool; we'll presumably find out more at 6pm GMT on the 27th, which is when the timer runs out.

You are totally rockin that new title, by the way.
Also, can someone give me like, detailed info on Conquest of the Wizardlands? I want to know if it's worth it.

Well, it's your basic DLC package with a nifty gimmick.
You get a few interesting skill sets, new items, new enemies, and technically hundreds of thousands of new areas, due to the Wizardlands. Basically, a wizardland is a level-scaled mysterious portal (So if you find a code for one on level 1, it will have level 1 enemies and items). You find codes randomly throughout the dungeon on brightly colored graffiti, and you can enter the Wizardland by typing in that code in your pocket dimension. The pocket dimension is basically a bag of holding you can enter, and you can enter it when you find a set of keys (which you find relatively quickly, I've found a pair on level 1 every time). You can also only use a code once (across all characters), and this is so that people don't find the wizardlands with the best loot and just use them every time they make a new character. The codes are meant to be shared, so if you do find some nifty wizardlands, make sure to share the code with us, as well as the level you found it on, and what loot you found.
Remember, the portal will be black if the code worked.
The portal will be red if you're going to diggle hell (and you don't want to go to diggle hell).
Also, never, EVER hit levers. It will spawn evil clones, and they will kill you.
If you want to check out the new skills, just visit the Dredmorpedia
Also, if you're really looking for a challenge, I dare say that Diggle Hell is the hardest part of the game, if only for one denizen in it who hits almost twice as hard as Dredmor and has 2.5x the health.
Damn, this game is fun
Bought both dlcs.
Why you should never use Steam Wallet:

Temptation of buy it raising... Make it stop!
It's worth it so why not
Wizarding law is an incredibly useful skill tree, as I found out.
You can turn monsters into other monsters, make them unable to cast spells, inflict debuffs that were inflicted on you onto other things (meaning you can spam things that give you bad effects on purpose so that you debuff other stuff), cast a mana-sustain ability that increases magic resistance and magic reflection, and the best part is that the last ability in the skill tree allows you to reset a cooldown. Which one it resets is random if you have more than 1, but if you only use 1 cooldown skill at time, you can spam it ad nauseum.
This ability by itself can make a rogue scientist or clockwork knight build way more powerful, since you'll be able to spam gas canisters and parabolic mecha stomps until absolutely everything dies.
Or it can make you so that you swarm the dungeon with hunting diggles.
Combine with piracy to have permanent +75% counter attack and +20 dodge
Lay an egg every other turn as a diggle
Berserker rage? 100% guaranteed crits all the time
Not to even mention every single weapon proficiency has a special attack or two.
Of course you'll need some way of regaining mana, so having ley lines or blood magic is a perfect compliment (or both, if you like). Sadly, the channeling ability in ley lines doesn't work properly with the cooldown reset skill. You can activate it several times within a few turns, but it will only give you mana for 12 turns, and after that it stops until 30 turns or so are up.
battle geology + unarmed combat + assassin worked nice for me
You can still get crits, which is amazing.
Any other amazing builds?
Any other amazing builds?
I was thinking of making another glass cannon melee wizard hybrid build thing, but every time I do, I die to something stupid.
Here's the basic concept.
Dual Wielding for maximum damage output
Warlockery because melee wizard
Blood Magic for recovering lots of mana
Ley Lines for the same purpose
Then three more skills that give mana sustain abilities
What I've been thinking of is Necronomiconomics (pact of fleeting life + mark of cthon makes you damn hard to kill in melee), Egyptian Magic (4 buffs at once, and eye of ra is spectacularly good), and either Wizarding Law, Viking Magic, or Mathemagic.
Hard to manage, but you'll have some crazy good damage output end-game.
i died
because of dredmor
damn it he kept resisting all my attacks, i was so close to killing him aswell

Imagine: they will do to Dwarf Fortress what they did to roguelikes with Dungeons of Dredmor. Can't wait for more info.
Well, there goes my run. For some reason, my guy exploded and died in three turns. Nothing hit her, no traps, just exploded and died. I don't know if it was an encrustment that did me in, but the only thing I had encrusted was my shield, and it was only mildly unstable. Maybe it was because my hero had 60 magical power and the encrusting explosion scales with magical power (I dunno), but even then, I wasn't hit by anything.
I was on floor 11, and I went from 110 health to 0. Such a good run too. I will miss you, Protagonist the Adventurer, who stomped like a giraffe.

Dwarf Fortress-like without the shit interface? I'll take 10.
This looks pretty interesting; I hope we get gameplay videos in the coming months...
Hello guys, this is Warlock from the Gaslamp Games forum. I maintain the spreadsheet for wizardlands and the loot thread too. I came here, liked it, and decided to register. So here I am. I was lurking for a while before now.
If anyone has any wizardland codes to offer, please either post them here or PM me please.
I'll leave you with a present (slightly weird but it might be of interest to some, this basically started as a joke in response to a suggestions thread): http://community.gaslampgames.com/threads/daggle-fanart-page.4885/
Well I have some codes, except now I don't remember what level they are. Do you still want them?
Well I have some codes, except now I don't remember what level they are. Do you still want them?
Go ahead. I'll figure them out as I go along.
Ok, then here goes the list:
inzukewnpotjaf
nanuszarpokzuk
frirhozankiing
fwrahporkiijo
bangbeljalkullzar
zemagnuslioopor
nazarporlioozan
sapewnbangsee
uabelngrho
bitgorlechpotpot
denzarlioongjo
fwtwefroomcha
bangwarahpokjo
achjolechporom
bzatngchuporng
I think most of them is from level 5 and deeper, but I may be wrong. Please post if any of them brings some cool loot, as I haven't visited most of them yet.
Alright, but I'm still updating my thread with respect to wizardlands on a floor by floor basis, so it might take some time to upload these to the spreadsheet. I'll post those in the graffiti thread to get some others to provide info in the meantime.
edit: added to thread along with the few other codes I was lucky enough to get.
Bump: does anybody else have codes they'd like to offer me, please?
This time I leave you with a picture of what your inventory and pocket dimension might look like if you explore most of the floor 1 wizardlands alone:
