BOD HQ lasted about a month, to the best of my knowledge the small base at 21k is still standing. Divercity lasted about 3-4 months but fell because omaliymix gave out the Coords to One too many people.
The 'Shroom where I live is 110k, has 5 residents and is about 2 months old. The trick is only trusting new players you help yourself and people you know personally.
New players are desperate for help and purpose.
No way in hell I'd ever trust an oldfag.
The policy on the island is kill on sight, unless they're on the list of people allowed to live on the island.
We have a 7 way conversation on Skype (not spoken, typed)
I'm going to see if I can get an alt so I can start at spawn and grab 2 new recruits under a different name
I just really need. More man power and more regular players.
Don't bother asking to join, I choose who can come, you ask me, there's no chance of you being admitted

I think there is a set number of maps, so you made a map that was already assigned.

So maps are now useless on the server? That sucks, I tried using the AISiDT or whatever it was called, didn't work for me(white screen) and I wanted to map out the island and surrounding mushroom islands.
Once 1.4 comes out maps should be a hell of a lot nicer.
Any way around the current broken map system?

Whenever I see pictures of people's bases like extremely far out in the millions who has like gold houses and shit I always thought that would be such a lonely way to live. This is why I'm a nomad (for now at least)

Xray around for some melon or wheat farms, there's always several around spawn. If you're ~2 legit~ for an xray just follow one of the flat paths out of spawn, people usually build farms along those.

Yea if they guy you join is untrustworthy you really don't lose anything except if you came to him with lots of good stuff, but that would be stupid. But if you were the untrustworthy one than they could lose everything.
