living within the 10k mark of spawn makes me remember how beautiful alpha's terrain gen was
Just started building a new base, one that's closer to spawn. I'm not further than 1k out. So far I've got a bunch of food and diamonds, now I'm just expanding my farms and clearing out more dirt and stone.
I want to try living around other people, so that's why I'm relocating closer to the spawn.

I don't care, that's the whole point of it. Have it so I can reveal my coords to some people, and if it eventually gets destroyed, who cares. It's too boring to live alone far out anyway.
For the time being, I'm going to carry in expanding.
I just finished mining 6084 blocks next to my wheat farm to make way for what I'm going to build next. Taking a break first though.

im talking about the old fp republic. the "new" republic was just a bunch of newfriends that joined 2b2t because someone on fp made a new thread. most of the newfriends quit after all their spawn bases were destroyed by MEAN INTERNET TROLLS. the old republic was very large and had lots of bases scattered around.
Oh man, I feel awful.
I just logged in on my alt, and I had just remembered that there was some guy whom I was going to help move away from spawn. He was living in some ruins around a thousand blocks away from spawn, and he was seeing me on my main, talking to a friend of mine in my base. So he asked if it's alright to join me in my base, and because it's fucking 2b2t, I said no. He seemed really nice, yet confused, so I offered to help him move out. I then logged in on my alt, and we met at around 800 800. He gave me an iron sword, an iron pick, a stack of melons and some bread so we can continue the journey together. He told me that he has stuff to do so he logged out, I told him to send me a PM on my main so I can relog on my alt to help him. I haven't seen him from that day. So if you just so happen to be reading this, just keep in mind that I am still waiting for you, buddy. :)

I know. The base at 1k that you semi-griefed once is one of the longest-lived on 2b2t.
Doesn't change a thing in the fact that people will stumble over it more probably at 5k than at 50k.

So what, you're narrowing down your location to an island, which is a dumb thing to do
And if you give your coordinates after saying that you're moving to the other side of the island, all someone has to do its go to the other side of the island from where you posted your coordinates and search around a bit to find where you are
