I remember when I first played. Back when spawn was a cobblestone plain with furnaces everywhere. At one point, two guys ran at me in iron armour and gave me some tools and weapons, food and a boat.

I got helped in my first few hours, set me up for helping 3 other people and resulting in my several stacks of diamonds. Wasn't too bad, really. Just have to take a chance and message someone if you see them instead of sprinting off into murdermode.

yea when i first played, i was spawnkilled by diamondfags quite a few times. no one gave me anything when i first started. i learned to survive by myself.

When I first played, everyone spawned in a small bedrock box and there were swarms of blazes and ghasts everywhere.

maybe the fact that 2b2t is down, could have caused the massive drop in players. we should GET 2B2T BACK UP! AND lava spawn more.. this should increase number of players on at any given time, as who doesn't enjoy spawnfag death messages and listening to their screams for help in chat.

i consider spawn a test, in order to keep the level of newfags to a minimum. handing out things at spawn defeats the entire purpose of spawn being so hard.

i see your point, i really do, idk why it annoys me so much. just seems that everyone had help at spawn, no one ever helped me, and i became stronger because of it. 2b2t is getting soft, we need omally and polly and other tnt-happy faggots back. what was always great about 2b2t was the air of uncertainty, which seems to be gone.

ya see, i really want to base with a few people, but the only people i would want to base with, are all griefers to the point that my town wouldnt last 2 hours. i have yet to figure out what i will do, will probably make a town and invite all the people i would want to live with, then just see how things play out. unsure of how many would actually come.
