Well after 2 days around spawn the awesome gear which was granted to me by Omal is still mine, albeit almost broken, I've been repairing it with an anvil I made but I can't get enough levels to repair more than a single piece of armor at a time, which then gets worn down by mobs as I get exp. a vicious cycle that only results in me losing diamonds.
I made a map of spawn, a normal map expanded 5 times, south and west of spawn are undoubtedly the worst sides to try leaving, outside the wall the land is near impossible to traverse and it's the most desolate direction.
I'm running out of resources
My armor is breaking
I can't leave anything out it it gets stolen in 2 hours
Whenever I go to spawn I can't walk 5 feet without falling into the basement( what I call the buried old layers of spawn
Anyone I help dies and gets sent back

i just go to my handy dandy mob grinder and repair all the gear i rarely damage because im not dumb enough to let mobs fuck me up.

I went to spawn and Omal decided to be awesome and jump start me with gear
im not using any mods, nodus, xray, nada
I'm making trips all over the place and i have no external supplies while staying within 3k of spawn
it's not hard, but all my shit's breaking

He probably killed himself to go to spawn. Therefore no gear. If I am really far out, I would rather die and spawn then walk back. He has someone at his base who can just replace his bed and when he dies next time he will spawn back at his bed.
