Put half slabs on your pad's and you can reduce if not outright stop spiders from spawning.

reducing spider spawns will increase the chance of creeper spawns, more gp.

Define "value" and define "you". I had my most important stuff tucked in the ender chest, so not much loss personally. Other things of value would be crops, XP grinders, vinyl plates, potions, THE HOME, all gone.... :(

I just logged into this server for the first time in over a year. I'm so glad it never changed.
The last place I logged off at was in an empty field. That empty field has turned into a fortress full of supplies and food. I'm not sure if it's abandoned, but I guess I'll be staying there for now. I hope they don't mind a random homeless guy living in their basement. :v:

Diamonds, gold, iron blocks, gun powder, stacks of redstone. Etc.
Of course most people keep what they want on them or in their ender chest inventory, I know I do.
The only thing I'd loose if someone destroyed my base is 4 set up pig spawners, which I hope they wouldn't destroy since its free food and XP for anyone who happens by.
Though I got 3 double chest of chicken eggs and would simply breed them for food. Everything else is easily rebuilt, with time.

A friend who told me about 2b2t in the first place is burnt out on minecraft and barely played on the server anyhow. So He lent me his account now I got a account closer to spawn and for exploring purposes. I got a base going on but I'll only be there for re-stocking and dying

Please stop making awful posts like this. There are food caches within 100 meters of each other lining 3,500 meters of spawn in every direction and yet we always have some chucklefuck get on and comment on how difficult it is to escape.
It's all just being in the right place at the right time. You can keep dying or you can come across food quickly.
