I finally made a little progress on doing anything!
I found some wood around 64 -2000.
Unfortunately, I died trying to kill some zombies for their flesh before I could make a bed.
Also I went to the top of spawn and jumped which was pretty cool.
A guy in diamond armor gave me 4 pieces of bread in spawn so I can live.
I'm down to 2 breads and i'm only 1k out. I don't know if I'll make it
The nether is the fastest way to travel.

Just to be correct, isn't that all blocks from spawn to 10k (in a circle, not square).
Be aware, if you say you are pretty much exact 10k or 20k out somebody does not need
to search the whole area, just the border. Which is much much less as what you calculated.
To protect yourself against this, don't tell the exact distance but be wrong for at least 5k

I just found a "Base Facepunch" with a pointing arrow, I will follow that direction for a while.
(It's as good as any other and I'm just nomadic for now anyway)
edit: and don't actually stay in the main/visible part of the base, make a small hideout at distance where you log
out. You never know if there's lava if you return (keep a bucket of water to)

are there no ways out? From the outside I could look a bit in from something
like 15,15 or 20,20.
If you can reach that, there on there is a way out. I couldn't get in more than that,
but last night others made it out. (I helped one through a own tunnel I made, not far
from there)

Don't try to destroy blocks, look for small openings.
Possibly through water, whatever. Last night, some made it out.

I can get more close to spawn, but doubt I can seriously do something there.
Not sure how long I stay online to.
edit: for now, offline. If you make it out, +x, +z there's usually wheat + trees not to far away.
(Don't run to much, you can walk much longer as you can run)

They can give you a really strong edge in a fight. Poison potions hit through armour and really deadly for that reason. Regeneration potions can make you a bitch to kill. Fire Resistance can stop people flinting or using lava buckets, so on and so forth.

I was killed in nether because of the fucking lag. I'm so pissed right now.
Lag is over now. Also i am frequently having blocks around me turn invis so i have vision down below and outside of where I am. Usually happens when I go into enclosed spaces, any known fixes? The blocks are still there and mineable, they are just invisible :x
Some really kind dude tried to give me food during the lagfest and I died cause I wasn't able to eat it :(

Finally! I used up 3 diamond pickaxes and an entire diamond shovel on this room! Now to just do the finishing details and -- wait why do I see nameplates above me?
I was in my little shelter near spawn when a guy in diamond armor and his friend come close. They came by the door and said in chat that he was coming in peace. I was so fucking afraid: I had my little wheat farm, a bunch of coal, some iron and other stuff. I let him in, and pray for not dying by his sword.
He ask for some coal, and then go away.
I think I need new pants.
