So me and my friend found this old settlement at around about the 9K radius. Only signs of the previous owners was a message from a guy named "Oldham" to the rest of the inhabitants. It looked slightly griefed, but there were shit loads of supplies and a huge mine.
About fifteen minutes after we get in, my friend tries to blow it up with TNT and ends up killing himself.
Where do the huge oceans start/end? I went to 10k in nether, ended up in what seemed like an unending ocean... went back to Nether, carried on going and got killed...
And with that, after several days of working and having met tons of people, base K-9 will now be abandoned by me and stealth_nachos, to move further out. It is currently ungriefed and houses a giant melon farm, a big wheat farm, 3 houses, and a 60x60x2 mob grinder and a sugar cane farm. If Treesways does not want to keep it running, I will release the coords of it, as it still has some loot in it.

wow, my xp grinder isn't working at all. I tried doing the deal where it drops mobs out of a spawner about 23 blocks, but none of it works :( I copied the design exactly as everything online shows it, too
