just helped a bit with the flooding at xcc2, was out of time though so couldn't finish
I'd do the bedrock thing, but Nodus doesn't want to work, so i'm playing regular minecraft.
I managed to finally get out and survive. In some old, dead base of some sort, killed a skeleton and managed to salvage the wheat farm.
Then got blown up by a creeper.
Then went all the way back and continued survival!
I've got a little base set up, if anyone is near x 25k to 30k Pm me. I've got a load of food, and tools :)
After dozens of sticky pistons and tons of repeaters, the double blaze grinder is finished! I have yet to do a proper test on how long it takes to get from 0-50, but I think I got there around 30 minutes of semi-AFK time.

make them feed into the same kill point to increase efficiency.

That seems to be really difficult. Making blazes travel upward is near-impossible, and having a piston conveyor to one central point risks suffocating them. If you have any ideas on how to lead them to one spot effectively, let me know, though.

Use glass to push them in a conveyor. Glass doesn't suffocate them.

Gah, someone found my base and looted it. Not so much annoyed at the stuff they took, more annoyed at the fact they'd randomly taken blocks from the walls and floor. At least my farms were left undisturbed I guess.

It's not [B]that[/B] hard, there was a portal just outside spawn when I was on earlier today, go through that and keep walking in one straight line and you'll find something eventually if you don't starve first. Try to pick up mushrooms of both colours in the nether and hopefully when you get out you quickly chop down some trees and make stew.
This is a few days late but someone found my base which is like 35k out.
