No where is safe, but it will be awhile before you get greifed provided you don't have a nether portal linking directly to your base.

It's my castle. 0rbus just stays there and watches the place. The guy who is burning your place DOES attack the castle. It's someone named Crasken and he burns everything around there and floods the castle. Just that the castle is constantly repaired and rebuilt due to extreme autism.

Nah it's cool. The area under my base is full of cave systems and abandoned mines, I can't see it taking a long time for me to find more diamonds. I'm in the process of heading out anyway.

Oh I know, it's not supposed to be a permanent one anyway. I plan on leaving when I can mine obsidian to create a new portal elsewhere. I want to head out about 20K+, and I'll leave my current base as a open venue.
