There is a hole I can not fill up to the left of spawn, due to protection. I can fix the paths around it but not it directly.
Find a good spot over 20k away
Kill self to go back to old base
Take what's left at old base
Take bed with me
Get killed by a spider
Back to spawn with nothing
Spiders need nerfing
Just popped into the server to see how things were, 2k2 is a mess, as everyone knows. I got hit by lightning trying to leave, so I'm stuck at the base unless the lightning stops. I may try to tunnel my way back, but it's a fair bit away at -3150, -350.
Okay unless someone comes along and digs a straight line through the cobble and bridges all the gaps at the spawn then there's no way I can leave, think I'm going to have to move on sadly.

Someone just said in chat that they found something at those coords, it may not be there when you get back to it.

Also, if you guys are looking to start a facepunch republic, I totally support you. If you want it to be even somewhat successful, you're going to need to be out past 10k.

When I was last there, not a week ago I could leave spawn at the +x,+y side.
When you stood before the lava, to the right was a small bridge (3 wide, 20 blocks long)
it must still be there, as it was in the protected part.
Following this direction slightly keeping left at first, once out of direct spawn, keep more right/up and there were 1 or 2 good paths leading straight out. (Those are not protected, so they might be messed up.
Once out, you can circle around spawn and go any direction you wish.
in the +x,+y somebody maintained a base not far out with trees and wheat,
well within 1k.
Otherwise a tree and a few spiders will give you access to fish for dinner.

Holy fuck it's like hardcore mode for minecraft. The very beginning is a fucking fight for your life as you scramble through the crevasse of death and into the nether right off the bat, completely unarmed.
Me and 6 other people in a team made it out the other end, finally, only to die of hunger. Son of a bitch.

I've made it out before, plenty of times, I've been on this server on and off for months but cheers anyway. My laptop is struggling to create anything more than a powerpoint of the spawn.

Does anybody here remember that list of co-ords? I'm mainly interested in Fort Unpopulated (hi mike) and the base where we made all the dupers (and popbob lit the bomb factory on fire..), I think it was base 5 or something.
also, phago, if you want, you should send me those co-ords and I can come find you if you're close.

You need to type "/killbedrockceiling" and it will allow you to get on top of it for a short moment.

It's actually pretty easy, you take a bed into the nether, look down, jump and place a bed under you.

I was travelling a pretty far distance, when out of nowhere some one in diamond armour came out. Couldn't do much so I just let him kill me. I'm not sure I am in the mood for playing since it took me ages to even escape the spawn, unless anyone is willing for me to tag along with them

You need to find those people whoa re helpful. My current base, i built first time I was on the server, and I saved the coords, went back to spawn. After I'd gander 6 months, I return to the base to see someone had left a sign saying "Thanks, this place saved my life. I would have starved. -(guys name)" He left me some iron armor and some whatnots without hurting the base.
Currently I have some basic resources and a farm. It's not very notable.
So I log in and my 6-month old base is still there and I'm bored now; any groups forming I could join?
