Wait seriously what's going on here, same thing is happening for me.
I'd say a furnace surrounded by as few diamond ores as possible would be the best place to store valuables. If you make it look like a natural small vein of diamonds, chances are xrayers wont really bother going for it, (especially if you put it above/below/near lava it wont show up with the chest wallhack either. Only downside is that you can only store one valuable (possibly two, im not entirely sure) in a furnace.

The best place to hide your shit is in dungeon/mineshaft chests, provided you put everything back the way it was. Most xrayers have no interest in dungeons unless they're far enough out to establish a base.
so are monster spawners disabled or what? tried doing what people said (putting 2 blocks clearance on all sides) but it isn't working any longer.

Im gonna travel on to deeper lands. But I have two bases in 16k+~ that you guys can use. I'm Anchorman in game, just whisper me for the coordinates. There's farms at both, though a guy is living at the first one. The second one will be nether-road linked soon, since thats how I'm going to leave it.

Yeah. I'm not sure why I did that. I know Spanish... Pretty well. I'm in an honors Spanish IV class in school. I forget that I have it set to that sometimes. That pick is Unbreakable III, Fortune III, and Efficiency III if anyone couldn't tell.
