2b2t is pretty much just like the /v/ creati/v/e server. Idiotic, and raining swastikas and dicks.
I just joined to see what the fuss is about with this server. And holy crap. It took me a long time to find any sort of food to survive let alone wood to build shelter. But I found this one town. It's huge. But clearly deserted. The most recent sign post is from May 12th. It appears as if this town had undergone some serious griefing. What used to be full buildings were now rubble, only recognized by their incomplete walls and hanging ceilings. Farms barely having enough food to provide for a single person, let alone the dozens of people I imagine it once cradled.
I stand now, in the middle of these ruins and I give a moment of silence to a fallen city.

Reading the OP more thoroughly, I know now what town it was that I discovered. It's amazing how much I have found, and how little is left unharmed. It's truly a chaotic server.

Distance and not picking to "nice" coordinates help though, giving you much more time.
And currently, as long as boats remain disabled, bases below a big ocean are not easily found.

i was there with some guy named doc but all i could do was work his water melon farm so i stole all his food and the swastika was there when i was a like two days ago

At certain times of the day when there isn't many other players the Redditers come out and the the chat log is flooded with 'le'.
That's actually the town I stop at if I die to get food. Not that far from spawn through a nether portal.

God fucking damnit. I was around x: 12k with my brother, and we were doing fucking amazing. Besides having beds, we were awesome. We had iron gear, tons of melons and wheat, tons of wood, it was awesome. We decided to give the Nether a shot. All the sudden, he falls, accidently attacks a Zombie Pigmen, the entire fucking Nether rains hell upon us, and we both die. He's not playing anymore. D:
Getting all four of the people at our base ready for a trip into the nether took longer than the 6k trek to the nearest nether fortress :v:

are any "cheating" mods allowed, like minimaps ( I was thinking of trying out rei's minimap)?
I just need a mod that will display coords on the screen all of the time, because my f3 is messed up- eventually it overloads the screen with the weird growing line graph thingy.

It's no rules. Everything is allowed. Hell, you could use hacked clients that show all chests and let you freecam; having a minimap is probably the most innocent of things you could do.

Bukkit doesn't mean a server is over protected, just means it has mods. But yeah, you can do all that shit on 2b2t, just expect it back.
