I always use stone tools, and carry a spare iron one. It greatly increases the item's life. In fact, similar outlooks are used in actual survival situations. If you're lost or stranded somewhere, and you need to use a blade, it's [b]much[/b] better that you make one out of wood or stone and save your actual knife for emergencies.

A lot of the people in chat are assholes, but my melon outpost gets visitors constantly and they always leave nice signs and put stuff in the "free loot" chest.

Harblax seems to have destroyed the base. It's about damn time too, I don't know what my friends were thinking when they built it at 3k out. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when I tell them.

I remember some place called the Hub being mentioned frequently when there was actually a republic, anyone got the coords to the ruins?

Some people (namely popbob) have been talking about a working furnace dupe in 1.2.5. Does anybody know how to do this? It could be bullshit, but people are claiming that they can duplicate any block or item, even with enchantments.
