Decided to up-sticks and head elsewhere for a new beginning.

All I've got so far, need to add a top to the windmill, the farm will soon be a lot bigger so it's more picturesque rather than needing unquantifiable amounts of wheat.
I can't connect, anyone else having issues?

How far out are you?
I really love the idea of this server and cant wait to join. How would I go about finding a nice place to hide out though? 2k2k looks nice, but I fear for it's safety. Anyone here willing to lodge a backpacker for a bit?

If you're worried about being safe, don't bother with a hideout. Just keep on trucking till 50k+.

Our 3k base went for about 2 months
Made it to 2k2k, I feel proud.:suicide:
God damn it,
I was tending to 2k2k for the past month and some ass steals my bed and puts a lava trap and I drown in it!
Oh well, back to the frustration of trying to get out of spawn.

I passed the monument at -10k X and -10k z as well as the shrine at -20k x and z

just found a nice base called the [I][B]"Boatmurdered"[/B][/I] run by some crazy dudes... their names are on the signs on the screenshots. It was under the ocean built into a ravine. Had a mob grinder, loads of chests, nice architecture and stuff... was a nice find. If you want to check out yourself.... see the coords upper left of screenshots.

Do not trust this guy. He is bipolar, and is prone to sudden violent mood swings. We had told him to use mumble to communicate as you all know chat is spammed with 'nigger' etc. He comes on mumble, and is too shy to talk (yes folks, on the internet). After awhile, he starts to talk and has the most stereotypical nerd voice known to man. Later on, he starts wasting gold and rails making shit tons of powered rails, after being told - REPEATEDLY - not to place and make anymore, he still carries on and so I kill him. It also turns out he didn't listen as he had disappeared off mumble all of a sudden.
Turns out his bed was bugged or some shit, apologised and he then threatened to leak the co-ords, tnt the base etc etc.
tl;dr - socially inept geek, undiagnosed bipolar dont trust him with ur base

Yeah, I made the mistake of trusting him and now my (and my friends') base is wiped off the face of the map and I'm at spawn. It sucks to start over from nothing, but that's why we all love 2b2t, isn't it?
