Especially since, a year ago, although the spawn was still fucked up, it was 100,000 times easier to get out because
A. no hunger
B. it wan't as fucked up as now
and then you just go to 5k or so then mine to get materials to go into the nether and travel

well I played march-july last year and I remember it being a lot easier to escape spawn, but at the time I had no idea how to travel above bedrock, so I only made it to about 30k on foot
Which, by the way, at the time was definitely suitable for not being found for a long time, although it's not anymore

Any chance you can pm the Coords? I have all but stopped playing due to lack of anything to do, but lately when I do get on, I've just been preparing to leave my base, to explore the remains of 2b2t.
