Lurked around on this server before, but I didn't really play much because I did most play on another server. I once hopped in a nether highway in spawn, and walked till I had 3 hunger. Turned out I walked 40,000 blocks, got killed by a spider as soon as I left the nether :v:
I recognize some names here, I was here when you guys were re-planting spawn a month or 2 ago.
I'll be on for a while, IGN is Articsledder, keep an eye out for a shitty Angry Birds skin.
To be honest the idea to bring others here as sort of a haven crossed my mind, but there's always that warning message lingering in the back of my mind.

I'm not going to travel far from 2k2k, but once you get here, there's a fair amount of free bread in the main lobby.

I left a farm and replanted some trees near the exit from the first portal I found in the nether (going in via the closer spawn portal, not the swastika one). That was yesterday, and no one else had come through there by the time I left it earlier today so it might still be there.
I remember there was this huge ass minefield back when before the huge ass update in 2b2t. Not sure if it was real but the pressure plates alone scared me enough not to go find out.

If anyone needs help, take nether portal at -200, -200 in the nether, dumps you out 500 blocks away.
Thought I was at 2k2k turns out I was just at some random tower base thing... Now I'm at 2k2k, so whose ever tower that was, I fixed it for ya.

So apparently 2k2k is being griefed. I'm going to get on an alt to check it out myself.
Can confirm this, logged on and was killed within 15 seconds. The tree was burned down.
Maybe next time we shouldn't name a base after it's coords.
