walked 15k or so blocks in the Nether, got out through a portal and was stuck underground. decided to mine my way out and was doing fine, had diamonds and stuff. suddenly, creepers. five of them

I started playing this yesterday, I've got out of spawn and found a nice farm, made some bread and took some seeds, then I went further. I was wondering if laying in beds sets your spawn point?

I was lucky enough to pick up someones items when they died at spawn. They had craploads of food, so that got me somewhere where I can sustain myself. Thank god.

God fuck, every time I manage to make it out of spawn, into the nether then back into the normal world, I manage to get myself a nice little settlement going with plenty of food, then fucking spiders out of nowhere, all the time, 5th time in the past 72 hours I have had to respawn and make a new little settlement for myself :(
So I haven't played 2b2t in a while. I come back, get out of my little mine in my house, make my farm a little bigger and better, and go to my chest to store things. Someone moved my items to the side and made a heart out of iron bars in it :v:

I tried 2b2t for the first time, got out to x -25k and then fell asleep because I got too high while I was on a boat going across a huge body of water, and eventually crashed into land and drowned. Woke up and saw the death screen. I wasn't able to get food again for the longest time.
I got this farm set up in sprinting distance from spawn. I'm gonna move out farther after I post the pics and coords. It's quick to get to from spawn, so there's be plenty of food for a while hopefully.
