LURK didn't win anything?
LURK didn't win anything?
Well LURK is a compilation mod mostly, I'd say that's why it didn't. That and everyone is pissed about 1.1 being 3 months late and counting.
Why can the announcer pronounce anything. DEYOOS SEX
It's better than last years. ModDB has has a serious problem of have some of the worst voice overs in exsistance for their MOTY stuff :silent:
Gabe is losing weight. [img_thumb]http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/2/1950/ntsux_gaben.jpg[/img_thumb]
Not really, but you'd at least have thought they'd have got even a most basic alpha demo ready in five years.
They did, and they showed it to some people who work on the Australian gaming magazine called Powerplay and they loved it.

Found this in nominees and it's looks amazing! http://www.moddb.com/mods/raindrop
Mortewood winning the Upcoming Mod award and Naruto running up proves that the average IQ of Moddb is below 80
As much as it pains me to say this, Naruto looks like one of the most changed mods that pulls it off quite nicely and a lot of effort probably went into it. It's just a shame they wasted their talent on that IP.
I'm trying out that Research and Development mod, do I need to install Half Life 2 as well? (I haven't installed it on this computer yet)
I'm trying out that Research and Development mod, do I need to install Half Life 2 as well? (I haven't installed it on this computer yet)
You need HL2 Ep2 for it. Just a FYI. and you shouldn't
I'm trying out that Research and Development mod, do I need to install Half Life 2 as well? (I haven't installed it on this computer yet)
Ep2 is needed.
Holy FUCK. CITY 17 GOT EDGED OUT OF THE TOP FIVE BY NARUTO: SOURCE? NARUTO FUCKING SOURCE Jesus Christ. We missed fifth place by about fifteen votes.
You have to admit though, that naurto mod is one of the best looking and most impressive Half-Life 1 mods I've ever seen even if I could give two shits about the IP it's based on.
So, whatever happened to NeoTokyo, there was a release with quite a few major problems, it was fun but not as good as expected. Are they planning to patch it or what? It's been a very long time.
Earth's Special Forces is a better-implemented HL1 mod in terms of engine enhancement. They have dynamic shadows, 3d water, and phong. Plus, they've gotten rid of BSP. Landscapes can be crysis-size now. http://www.moddb.com/mods/earths-special-forces/videos/christmas-teaser-video#imagebox
Yeah, but Earth's Special Forces scored second place in the MoTY 2005. It couldn't place in this years unless it got first place.
Fuck yeah, A Path Beyond is honorable Released/Developed mention!
Well LURK is a compilation mod mostly
Arhghasgahwhaggwgha
Why isn't City 17: Episode 1 on the best upcoming mods list?
I don't even know what that is
