Wow, I took half of India with three land stacks and ~30 ships. The Russians descended upon the Mughal from the north and crushed their main land army. Then I swept aside some flintlock armies and took India. Really easy when you earn 60,000 gold per turn.

Anyone got some good mods for Medieval 2? Dont give me any of that fantasy shit with other races, I just want some legit Medieval 2 with some fixes and whatnot. I tried installing Broken Steel but I either did something wrong, or the instructions are terribly written. Same with the the M2TW Darthmod.

So apparently declaring war on a Country that everyone hates in Empire turns everyone against you. So I was playing as Russia with pretty much everyone as allies, Maratha Confederacy decides to take over all of India and expands into Persia and near Dagestan. I was Dagestan's only ally. but since I have been trying to Grow my armies I needed to expand too. So when the Maratha's decided to declare war on Persia, Mamalukes and Dagestan. (seeing as Maratha's were good friends with the rest of the countries in the world) I decided to expand my territory by Taking over Dagestan After about 2 hours of Siege battles and Land battles. I finally take over Dagestan. but somehow EVERY country in the world are hostile to me.

Hey does anyone know if the de-syncing issues on multiplayer Campaign for Shogun 2 have been fixed? I haven't played in a while and I wanted to recommend to a buddy of mine to pick it up so we can play campaign together.

I've heard it is the best mod but i dont know how to install it properly with steam.[/QUOTE] i'm not sure if this will work. in theory it should, but who knows. -install ss6.4 to your /mods/ folder -run ss_setup.exe in the ss6.4 folder and configure the settings to your liking -rename one of the kingdoms campaigns in the /mods/ folder, for example rename 'crusades' to 'crusades_backup' -rename the ss6.4 folder to the campaign you just renamed, for example rename it to 'crusades' -launch kingdoms from steam, selecting the crusades campaign when it prompts you that [I]should[/I] work, but if it doesn't, give [url=http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?p=7808159#post7808159]this[/url] a try.

I fancy the RTW faction banners in battles more than any other Total War game.

Imo the Napoleon model for battle unit flag things is the best.

I'm playing as the greeks in R:TW and I'm getting attacked on both sides by the Scipii and brutii, it's so fun watching a roman legion getting decimated by phalanxes.

Decided to give ETW a go after having to uninstall NTW but dang so little diversity. Gunfire seems more lethal though. I am convinced NTW is much better , although pikes are fun to mess around with.

With which version of M2TW do most of mods work? Patching is really tedious and I had to delete the whole game because of some data_0.pack error thing.

How does one take screenshots in Medieval 2: Total War? I couldn't see the option in the keybinds. Or maybe I'm just blind.

Does anybody know if they're going to allow us to preload Fall of the Samurai before the release Friday?
