I'm laughing at them saying that the game doesn't look good yet because it's pre-alpha and that they keep apologize for it when it looks amazing.

Right so, along with that video, I'm going to revamp the OP, mainly because it's super outdated and shitty. It doesn't mention Rome II and says FoTS is upcoming. So if you guys have any good mod suggestions, pictures, videos, or that kind of shit, give 'em here, or PM if you're weird. pls n thnks

It's pre-alpha and it already looks sexy as fuck. I'd play it as it is, buggy camera and all. By the by, do you guys know of any really good visual/gameplay mods for the original Rome?

Roma Surrectum is nice. It's extremely CPU intensive though.

Oh lordy, that looked really great. I am also interested to see how they pull off ramming-based naval warfare.

Playing barebones MT2 as England, and I must say I'm wealthy as fuck. I've launched operation "FUCK YOU EUROPE" after 50 turns, dwelling. My spearhead knocked into Central Europe with the force of a thousand armies, crushing all before them. Then the AI pulled a massive army out of it's ass and I had to retrain with the people rebelling in Europe. Fuck.

Rome and MT2 have the same issue of AI going "Oh god oh god I'm losing, better make 10 full stack armies appear out of fuck knows where"

not even fair, I just wanted to liberate all of Europe

Man, I'm playing as venice (very hard/ very hard) and this is the most fun I've ever had in a total war game, constantly attacked by everyone, money very short, bitter and prolonged fights for a settlement that keeps changing hands. I did find it funny how the moors came knocking at florence's port, did nothing and then when I called for a ceasefire the next turn, It was described as "very generous", same with spain.

I've been playing the britannia campaign as Ireland and I have good impressions so far. I tried as Wales, but I just felt kinda trapped and they don't really have good units besides their longbowmen. Ireland has Vikings and decent cavalry, with pretty good heavy infantry. Seems way better than Welsh Peasants.

In rome the workaround was just to bribe all the armies into disbanding or joining you.

In Med they're able to field armies that would put them into massive debt but in Shogun they can recruit units without having the required buildings. They also have the ability to convert Yari Ashigaru into samurai units if the army is in the fog of war. Depending on the difficulty level they also get extra recruitment slots aswell.

Is there a trick to getting bribes to work?

Small tech question here. Anyone have issues with the game locking up on the 7000 series of ati cards? I have an 7870 HD and for whatever reason the game freezes up the whole computer after a few minutes. All other games play fine btw. D: Edit: Forgot to mention for the game Shogun 2.

Question about napoleon is there any way to get my cannons to stop shooting my guys in the back? I dont have this problem in any other game :I

You don't realize how goddamn AWESOME their Hindu Warriors and super brave line infantry are until you play as some wimpy European nation.
