Did the seed '10110101' went to x 68, z 96 and set up shop. Pretty nice.
Mined straight down in a spiral pattern and did some row-mining and found 6 diamonds and some gold.
There was also a dungeon right under the arch mountain thing which was cool
Here are some nice snow worlds for you guys.

Use this program to get the seeds from random and old maps. It even works on your Pre-1.3 worlds.
Found here:

I'm still looking for a map with very sparse tiny islands, if anyone has one, also remember that capitalization counts.
[editline]23rd February 2011[/editline]
also by sparse, I mean I don't want to be able to see another island from any part of the spawn island shore
put this in op
http://mc.42nex.us/
extrapolates [sp]awesome word[/sp] the seed from any world, so if you have a world that you didn't give a seed to (or you forgot because you're a dumbfuck who didn't write it down) you can get it back easily.
wow i didn't see the post two above, oh well. you don't have to download a program for mine.
The seed "floating" actually generates a small floating island.
Also someone was asking for a flat world earlier I think "8" spawned a relatively flat one.

Big cave right next to spawn
Just merged the new and old threads together

"chezhead"
A really, really neat starting world with a forest and plains right near 0,0. Seriously, this is probably the best map for making cities or just starting out. There's a snow biome near the southwest of 0,0, and some mountains south of 0,0 as well. A nice little ocean is to the east.
You can see mountains in the background as well, so this looks over-all like a simple, yet balanced world.
Name: Peaceful Plains
Seed: chezhead
Description: A really near peaceful map with plenty of trees behind 0,0 and a couple mountains in the distance. This would be great for villages or just starting to make a nice little house.
POINTS OF INTEREST: There's a snow biome near the east of 0,0, and some mountains wast of 0,0 as well. A nice little ocean is to the south, and to the east of 0,0 are some plains with caves. West of the spawn are lots of trees.

"spanishinquisition" lands you in between three biomes with a few half-assed and very cubic caves nearby.
456 spawns you in a world full of cliffs and overhangs. Can't take a picture right now, sorry.
Name: Big-Ass Mountain
Seed: This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb
Description: There's a gigantic mountain in this world with some pretty good areas beneath it

i always get this when i use -11:

plus i ALWAYS spawn at 0,0
where's all the broken terrain i'm reading about
I seeded a world with the word "Obama" and I had spawned in a high-area with lots of beaches and a sand biome nearby but the most awesome thing is the caves below, I found a cave at
X: 110
Y: 67
Z: -195
It's a massive tunnel system that goes right to the bottom of the map with a lot of huge caverns but the most beautiful thing about it is there's a lot of water/lava collision but near to none Obsidian collision but just cobble stone in some places.
There's as much water as there is lava if not more and in a lot of cases they run side to side and 80% of the cave is lit completely by lava. A very amazing world, I suggest checking it out. I also seen a lot of diamonds, iron and Lapis Lazuli or however it's spelt.
Sorry no pictures, I've gotta go. :)
