I tried the AMK 1.4 mod. Holy crap that was shitty, I was in the car park tried to shoot a bandit. I FUCKING EMPTIED 4 MAGS INTO THAT FUCKER AND HE DIDN'T DIE And they shoot me 5 times and I die.

AMK is pretty nice in my opinion.

Okay, now I tried SC09 Weapons are über-nerfed, they don't do any damage. It's just vanilla stalker with nicer graphics.

Hell, I couldn't kill a bandit with a double barrel shotgun from point-blank range in SC2009!

So, now I've tried a shitload of mods. And I can say that LURK is the best of them all in my opinion. That OL+SC09 was a fucking disaster SC09 was boring and nerfed OL is just plain boring, like I call it "Overpowered Lol 2.2" LURK however, it adds some very nice stuff. Yeah, it has its flaws. It's just too dark all the time, good stuff is too rare to find. The weapon models are 10000x times better than vanilla or any mod I've tried. The weapons in it aren't some fucking airsoft-guns.

Am I the only one that doesn't bother with shader optmizations because in LURK I run with confortable 40fps with some decreases to 30, and very rarely, 6fps?

Is there any way to stop the seemingly random stutters I get?

Clear Sky is randomly crashing to the desktop and all I get is "xrengine.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION" halp? I tried running as administrator and I'm on the latest patch.

Holy fuck, I killed a military patrol in Cordon. The military didn't like so they sent all the fucking soldiers to chase me. I was dodging all the bullets and managed to sneak away from them. The military was somewhere in the cordon yelling "OBAMA" every now and then, I ran on top of a little hill and saw a military guy standing next to a bush. I took my Nagant, aimed and shot. Then the fucking bush started moving and I realized it was just 8+ military guys close to each other.

The only logical reason I can see behind it is that they don't want to start a new save game, but that doesn't seem to matter to anyone since they all start 400 new games a month anyway. If it's because it doesn't have the minimap, it's not hard to disable it.

AMK is really nice. Played a lot and most of the time with AMK. Nice skins and such, also random events are really great. One time Cordon was attacked by military. Everybody died, they were even charging Sidorovichs bunker where I hid myself.

Holy shit, Call of Pripyat looks awesome from those screenshots (I haven't seen any screenshots, because I don't want to torture myself before it comes out) Also, apparently in NEWSA+SIMBION if you don't sleep for a while, you collapse and are forced to sleep.
