After reading more through this thread I've had a massive craving to play SOC. I only got like 5 hours on it when I got distracted by other games. You can also type hud_draw 0 and hud_weapon 0 and hud_crosshair 0 in the console to get rid of that stuff.

Well now that I've spent the last 5 hours playing CoP I've come to a conclusion: This is everything Stalker should be. It's fucking orgasmic.

Wait did they change them map in CoP? Fuck that was one of the things I liked about stalker, the map didn't change at all between games.

All the original places are gone. Now there is a Swamp-Like area, a Industrial Park and Pripyat. I kind of like it better, they're HUGE. Like the size of the Military Warehouses each, actually they're like twice as big. CoP is what STALKER originally should have been.

Oh, yeah..It's 3 entirely new areas.

I can't fucking beat the last level in CS, I'm almost out of medkits and have one bandage. My Duty armor also decided to die on me. Fucking monolith keep teleporting around me and fucking me up. Plus I have to fucking catch take out Streloks Psi-protection.

I need some clarification guys. In SoC, Sid had a S.T.A.L.K.E.R suit for sale at one time. Then, today when I played it was gone. I know that the inventory changes, but is there some sort of pattern for items appearing in traders' inventories? I had enough for the Sunrise/STALKER suit :frown: and now its gone.

Wateva, I think I have what you have. I get shadows that like, look like the bar code thing that they scan on stuff. it's kind of annoying, but it doesn't bother me TOO much.
