How do you patch STALKER SoC to v1.0006 on the steam version?

you don't, I think it was recalled or something.

So I'm replaying SHoC, do y'all think I should get CS or just skip right onto CoP, is there any sort of cohesive storyline connecting the games?

Clear Sky and SHoC and connected a little bit. CoP isn't really related. Haven't played CoP, but so far I'd recommend it over CS

I haven't really been CoP story-line yet. Just the side missions and fucking around.

Because the description for the special edition I bought off Amazon.de had totally different stuff in it (no stickers) plus a metal case. And all the stuff that's in special.

X18 wasn't bad. The atmosphere is a little creepy, but once you realize you have something called bullets, you'll do fine.

So I've got SoC, and it's crashing every time I try to launch it. It's saying "a crash has been detected by bugtrap etc etc" wtf I read that a lot of people have this problem with Vista, but I'm running XP. I cannot launch Stalker at all. I also can't find a solution in Google

Woah, I got CoP to launch! :monocle: After shutting down my computer to go eat, I started it up again, launched CoP as admin without launching [I]anything[/I] else. I don't think I'm going to close it for a while...
