God damn, I'm really OCD. I can manage fine with just a pistol and a shotgun yet I feel this NEED to have a rifle just incase but I know I'll never use it and it's just extra weight. FFF I'm like a teenage girl dressing for the Prom.

Yeah, I had a very nicely upgraded Black Kite handgun and a very nicely upgraded assault rifle (I can't remember which one, but it's not an AK-74 but still appears to be a Kalashnikov varient of some sort), yet I carried around a combat shotgun for about a game week before I found use for it against a bloodsucker only to discover I hadn't packed ammo. I found it a new home in a ditch somewhere.

I was the same way with my sawed off shotgun. I never used it but kept it in my inventory until recently. And then I picked up a Chaser and it's gonna be the same deal, :( .

I have a Sniper rifle, assault weapon and a pistol. Yet I don't use the pistol.

So just a quick question, but does anyone else get BSODs from some STALKER games? Honestly it's like the X-Ray engine has it against my hardware. I don't get these BSODs from ANY other game, just the STALKER series. It first started on CS, it would BSOD every 5-10 mins and well that pretty much scared me away from it. When they released the last patch for it it seemed to fix it though. When I tried to play the russian version of CoP, it was all good for a while but 5-6 hours in, more BSODs that would happen. Since the first one they began happening every 5-10 mins (I am afraid this is going to happen to the US version too). Oh and it happens occasionally in SoC but it's not as frequent. Specs if anyone wants to try and help Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz 4 GB RAM Windows Vista 32-bit 8600 GTS I hear this happens to a lot of other people as well but apparently there's no solution.

I fucking hate the imaginary Pseudodogs you sometimes come across. I mean fuck I wasted so much fucking ammo before I realized what was going on.

I just carry a shot gun and assault rifle. personally I find the pistols useless.

I could probably drop my silenced pistol and the 1000+ rounds of ammo it has in favor of the silenced Viper 5 I now carry around.

I like having a Pistol because I can artifact hunt and be defensive at the same time. Anyway, does anyone want to tell me if there is anything in the Cement Factory before I run in like a retard?

I always carry an assault rifle, another one scoped with a silencer for sneaking (a different one, much more precise) and a gun. Always carry a gun, you never know when you'll run out of ammo or some shit like that.

My SoC still won't launch. D: I tried restarting steam and rebooting and everything, and it just crashes without launching. What am I supposed to do?

Call Target and ask, that's what I did. So, I was chilling at the bar when all the sudden there was an Emission, no big deal I sat near the door and just waited. Then all the sudden the whole "It's about to hit" is said which to me is the point of no return. I look on the map and see three yellow dots heading full speed for the bar, I run to the door and throw it open and a bandit charges through. At this point the sky is burning, everything is shaking and flashing. A Duty and a Freedom are running at the same pace, hand and hand, helping eachother to run at full speed toward the open doors. I'm cheering them on but suddenly there is a blinding flash and they're on the ground.. motionless. Rest in Peace, Sergeant Volodar and Sergeant Prokopenko. They were so close... Somebody help me. Why does SoC crash invariably when I try to launch it?

I think I've got a sound glitch or something. There was a [sp]controller[/sp] in the "village" and I killed it, but there's still a horribly loud wind (well, mindfuck) sound playing.

That American box art is so bland in comparison to our fiery statue, radiation and ferris wheel job seemingly everywhere else.
