Can't anyone assist me with my DX11 woes? :c Or should I take it to hardware/software?
I'm still wanting to know why I can't even launch SoC
Okay, list of enemies I've seen and fight so far on Wild territory, the area beside duty base you have to get across to arrive at yantar: -Duty (retarded ones) -Bandits (suicidal) -Mercenaries (right) -Ecologists (uh) -Bloodsuckers (motherfuckers) -Guys with badass expensive armors (juggernauts) -dogs (lots of them) -bigger dogs (along with the rest) -phantom rats (or whatever they're called, what the fuck) -snorks (ninjas) -zombies (Dead dutiers, they're even more retarded) All I wanted was to talk with Sakharov in Yantar and lend him a hand, the last time there wasn't so much shit on there, why everyone decided to go there all of sudden?
Some Faction Warfare mod for SoC made it far worse than what you're describing for me, dozens of mutants and human scum. However Freedom is there too and tend to help them out every time I pass through Wild Territory.
I only remember fighting bandits, dogs and mercenaries there. I don't think I ever saw a rat, ever. Unless this isn't vanilla SoC you're talking about and I'm extremely mixed up. LURK or something? Oh faction warfare. Only faction warfare? Rats?
I remember walking around and picking artifacts like damn FRUIT.
I wonder why there weren't any freedom if there's a building with a plantation (there are some snorks there) I'm playing with Stalker complete mod 2009
Hey guys, I don't know if any of you have a laptop capable of gaming but I took some benchmarks while playing all three Stalker games on my MacBook. Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz Nvidia 9400m 256mb DDR3 (shared with main memory) 4gb DDR3 1066mhz RAM 160gb 7200rpm hard drive Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Shadow of Chernobyl Medium, Static Lighting, 1024x768 High: 102fps Average: 58fps Low: 29fps Clear Sky Medium, Static Lighting, 1024x768 High: 58fps Average: 32fps Low: 23fps Call of Pripyat Medium, Static Lighting, 1024x768 High: 98fps Average: 61fps Low: 33fps Pretty good considering the 9400m is integrated (and 55% as fast as the Nvidia 8600m GT 256mb GDDR3) and my cpu is slow compared to today's standards. I would say if you have at least 3gb DDR2, 8600m GT/ATI x1600 256mb GDDR3, and a 2.2ghz cpu you can get much better performance than I do. These benchmarks are based on over all performance including; rain, shine, day, night, outdoor, indoor, and combat.
Goddamnit, I hate the wild dogs in red forest, don't start attacking you until you're in the middle of a gunfight with monolith.
Do some benchmark on CoP with Full Dynamic.
Do some benchmark on CoP with Full Dynamic.
not on a MacBook, crashed to desktop :buddy: BUT here is my gaming PC... I took these last night. Specs: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6300 2.8ghz ATI 4670 512mb GDDR3 2gb DDR2 800mhz 160gb 7200rpm hard drive external 320gb 7200rpm hard drive (that is where CoP is installed) Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Call of Pripyat: Maximum, 1024x768 (running on Samsung 42" plasma HDTV) Full Enhanced Dynamic Lighting DX10 High: 80fps Average: 48fps Minimum: 19fps These benchmarks are based on over all performance including; rain, shine, day, night, outdoor, indoor, and combat. I should mention I'm not using any anti-aliasing...
Call of Pripyat is really nicely optimized.
yeah, much better than Clear Sky and Shadow of Chernobyl is slightly better but not by much.
Well, just played call of prypiat, experienced my first crash just a few minutes in game. I expected it to me nicer all maxed out, but i guess it's because i don't have accses to the DX11 capabilities :saddowns: [editline]07:12PM[/editline] The atmosphere is immersive as hell, though. but yeah, it's still buggy.
yeah, much better than Clear Sky and Shadow of Chernobyl is slightly better but not by much.
Might as well as get CoP instead of CS after finishing SoC :v: The problem is that I'll probably get the Russian version due to Croatian informatics stores having shit orders when it comes to games. :argh:
Speaking of best equipment, what would be the overall best weapon in the game in your guys' opinions? Everyone seems to use the GP-37 (G36k), and I'm liking how it handles so far. Puts down bloodies and humans fairly easily.
Back in my days we used to take down pseudogiants with bolts! 10-15 a day!
Back in my days we used to take down pseudogiants with bolts! 10-15 a day!
There is no such thing as a bolt that kills.
Yes there is. [editline]09:21PM[/editline]
wtf
Anyone know where to find Veles Detectors in CoP? I have two and I can't find a final one for the quest. The scientists only sell me prototype anomaly detectors.
yeah, much better than Clear Sky and Shadow of Chernobyl is slightly better but not by much.
well, i maxed everything in this one and it doesn't seem to lag when i maxed everything in clear sky it was unplayable :V
well, i maxed everything in this one and it doesn't seem to lag when i maxed everything in clear sky it was unplayable :V
yea Call of Pripyat is in between depending on the situation but more towards Shadow of Chernobyl.
Got COP at target, only two left. The box art is pretty bad, its obvious the publishing was rushed.
personally I like the box art
Just keep searching dead exo loner bodies and stuff in Zaton and Jupiter.
Know any places off the top of yer mind? I rarely find dead loner bodies, never mind exo! :o The "hypothesis" quest bugged out and no mutants came, so I had to load the autosave (great addition) over and it worked, but I lost an hour of gameplay after it became clear they weren't going to show up.
UPS hurry up!
Got COP at target, only two left. The box art is pretty bad, its obvious the publishing was rushed.
But every edition includes (Besides the special edition) a map/tech-tree and stickers. :neckbeard: [editline]02:51PM[/editline] Although you can tell on a couple of the screenshots how they did it, they used the thirdperson commands. [editline]02:51PM[/editline]
UPS hurry up!
UPS doesn't ship on weekends.
what are the 3rd-person commands?
UPS doesn't ship on weekends.
But ... someone told me otherwise. Buzz off UPS.
what are the 3rd-person commands?
F2 for thirdperson, F3 for free camera.
bind cam_1 kF1 bind cam_2 kF2 bind cam_3 kF3 Although that's for SoC, in CoP those are already bound. If you want to bind then to F6, F7 and F8: bind cam_1 kF6 bind cam_2 kF7 bind cam_3 kF8 [editline]03:02PM[/editline] Put them in: C:\Users\Public\Documents\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat user.ltx
