'Fraid not. A Halfling Circusman, a Human thief, Elf Mage, Dwarf Toll-Keeper, Halfling Smuggler and a Human Roadwarden. When going into the sewer, the roadwarden rolled a 01 to not throw up or slip, everyone else failed.
My friend is planning on get a 3.5 ed campaign up
All clerics or associated with Vecna, I'm starting level 6
I never played as a cleric before, neither buy items for such character.
This friend (which is not the DM) told me I could buy myself a Sharp Mercyful Unholy Adamantine Long Sword and still have money to buy me a full plate but I'm pretty sure I can't buy such thing. I'd focus on melee combat, buffing myself and debuffing enemies.
Any idea what set of spells and talents I should go for and what items should I buy?
I'm pretty sure the DM will allow any "official" book as long as I have a copy of the page to use as reference

This thread remember me of my first session, good'ol time when I had all these MMORPG misconceptions.
Thinking gnolls were small creatures and removing giant spider fangs had no chance of poisoning myself in the process
In fact, my first session was the best so far and I miss that group so much. The paladin accidentally flinging his long sword around, the hillarious bard, the elf archer that got microwaved by a Scorching Ray and was revived as a human and rage quitted, the around 100 goblins, hobgoblins, 3 ogres and a bigass tarantula fought on that cave, the 3-times-confirmed critical failed shot by a mercenary NPC that managed to suffocate himself with the bow' string while tripping over a dead wolf, the part I punched the party's mage in the face and became king...
So much shit happened, I could go on all night

Since you're an evil cleric you can forget about being all buffy and shit.
You need to prepare heal, since you can't spontaneously cast heal.
You can spontaneously cast inflict though, which might be sick.

Haha took me a while to recoup, but last night was badass. Our DM had this sweet ass situation set up for us, but I decided to rob from this old guy, and ended up having to kill him. The guards heard this and were coming upstairs, so I dove out the second floor window using a bed as a cushion. Eventually, the magic dagger I stole from the man was tested, and it absorbed magic powers. Seeing as Someone casted Magic Missile on it, when I stabbed the Inn wall, it used magic missile and tore a hole in it.
Then 3 guards showed up, a huge brawl between us, commoners, and guards.
So yeah, due to me being greedy, we slaughtered an Inn's full of people.

Yeah, the inn was completely filled with dismembered body parts due to all the critical rolls we had last session. Somehow you guys were able to live with yourselves and rest for a good night's sleep though.
At least I gave them a good burial. Like I said though, they brought the fight to us. If they didn't do that, everything would have been fine.
My character slept upstairs in the Inn the whole time. :Downs:
