And give everyone a magical item that can create a random magical effect atleast ten times per day.
I'll play FATAL. Totally.
I would play it as long as whatever happens in FATAL stays in FATAL.
Has anyone ever read those real neat "grimdark monstergirl" threads on the tg archive? Was pretty cool reading about how humans react to those pervert fantasies, then it became some stupid RP thread. With emotes and everything.
Is Planescape: Torment the philosphical genius I think it is?
My little band of misfits: if you're around tomorrow, at the same usual time we start to play, I can try and salvage whatever we did today and go with that for a while.
I'm probably gonna end up starting the tomb of horrors in a week or so (the 4e version of it, anyway)
assuming the 4e version of it isn't ridiculously easy compared to the old ones (which I guess it could be), I'll let you guys know how quickly the entire party dies
i am now regretting sleeping in and missing Aerk's game, and i find myself craving some adventures

It is one of the best games ever. The story, the setting... It's a perfection.

You awake in a cave, wearing a small loincloth and a dagger lies next to you.
You're suffering from a headwound, it does not bleed but it hurts alright, and you can't remember shit.
At the end of the cave is light, you cannot see what is in the light.
What do you do?

Also, my god, whomever voiced the epilogue is a terrible fucking voice actor.
Great, started MOTB, and now there's some weird bug that prevents me from resting, this is the third time i had to re-install this game to fix some weird ass bug.

You win.
The end.
Hey, hey guys! I just got the most terrible and stupid idea ever!
Let's make a NWN module based of Facepunch!
It'll be totally awesome and stuff, and not at all stupid!

We could have a drinking game to go with it, every time sexual assault is mentioned, take a shot.

Ye gods, we would die from alchohol poisoning before you can say "I cast neutralize poison".
My eberron group played for 6 hours, (I was present for 3), all that was achieved was we got loot from last session, and we traveled to the next town.
Alright, my group: Get ready for Saturday. If you're not going to make it, tell me in advance or it's safe to assume you're just flaking out on us. Either way, we'll be going in full gear and we'll get some plot advancement in the scene now.
THAC0 is silly. Don't try and comprehend it.
I don't even see how THAC0 is hard to decipher.
It stands for "To Hit AC 0"
If your THAC0 is 18, you need to roll an 18, adjusted or not, to hit anything with an AC of 0.
So all you have to do is subtract 1 from your THAC0 for every point your enemy's AC increases. Enemy AC 2 with THAC0 18? Need 16. Enemy AC 6 with THAC0 18? Need 12. Simple.

Anyway just recently got back from our weekly 2E session. After doing some trivial shit and basically cleaning up after the fight with the Inquisition we go to the capitol city (disguised) to resupply and shit.
I've got money to spend, so I upgrade my armour and weapons. Up until now I've been using basic chain mail which gives me a base AC of 5, with a dex adjust of -2, I'm pretty hard to hit at AC0. Which is awesome for what I am now, a cross-class Fighter/Mage. Hell yes.
So I end up buying some splint mail armour and a shield. I normally fight with a 2h Sword but I found a really good longsword, so I took that as a proficiency and I go between the two.
Now. If that were it. After dex adjustment I would have 2 AC without the shield and 1 with it. But that isn't it. I have this awesome helmet that I don't know what it does. So I identified it. It gives -1 AC. So now, without a shield my AC is 1. With it, it's 0. Fuck your shit I'm a tanking mage(ish) bitches.
To top it off, my buddy drew an insignia for my character while we were playing so now my character wears a tabard with this insignia on it:

Some info on this: In this game my character is a pirate, though the DM likes to try and insist that he's really a 'privateer'. He was born and raised on a ship that, roughly two years ago (He's 25) sunk and he was the only survivor that he knows of. He washed up in a small town and got a job as a miner. The name of the ship he served on (He was something just under First Mate) was "The Warring Serpent", and was pretty influential in the pirate/'privateer' realm.
Aight, my group, get ready for saturday.

Does this mean that I'm going to be even more surprised when you cancel on us for your dog's baptism or something?

Actually it's his dog's flea's handbag's baptism.
I recently started playing Baldur's Gate for the first time, and damn it's tough. I got the Tutu mod so that BG1 and 2 are merged using a lot of features, etc from BG2. It works better than that Big World mod, way less complicated for the same effect.
Just watched Spoony's Counter Monkey story about Thieve's World. It is glorious.

Looks like I have a week of planning ahead of me.
Anyone interested in running some nWoD?
