Seems like a good way to make a character, make up a normal person, and then think about how they'd change when put through whatever's entailed in becoming whichever we decide to play as.

I am a bit busy tomorrow, I have to teach some kids Spanish and then go to Kendo.

Me too, playing a hunter that's co-operating with monsters against a common enemy would be pretty cool, or one from Network Zero tagging along for footage and "the truth". But this Genius rule set is something I want to try out, technomancy and occult research could be fun if other PCs aren't sure if they're lab assistants or lab materials.

Cancels sessions for LARP (everyone showed up for it anyways because we forgot), cancels session for friend going away party (yeah that's cool real life happens), cancels a session because one guy will be late (and he said ahead of time he'd be late), kills group when everyone shows up to play (minus the one guy who posted his schedule in advance of when he couldn't attend).
So yeah, the Friday group is dead

Don't count on it, the guy who made it and the only one whom is a moderator on it hasn't been online for over 60 days.

True story I almost cried while reading the start of the module I'm going to run a lucky group of people through NEXT FRIDAY. Gygax wrote "While I am strongly tempted to relate the events of the campaign we played, I believe it to be inappropriate to the adventure. (Ask me at a game convention, some time.... )"

Could someone help me with an adventure hook?
The local king assigned his wizard/alchemist to look into making weapons of destruction for him, experiment with potions on POWS, etc. He appears to go out of control, and I need a way for the king to tell players to investigate and for the players to get something out of it (a reason to go). Any ideas?
King sends a letter to each of the party members, saying that if they can prove that his wizard truly has gone out of control and then bring him to justice, they may [del]steal[/del] take everything of worth in the wizards lab.
A message for my 3.5e FP group: Fizzick and NoPartyHats (not so much Hats because I've actually had the opportunity to talk to you), if you don't present me with any excuse next session and you are absent again your characters may be killed off. Don't leave me in the dark like this or we can't exactly continue playing. I need you in communication with me so I know who will be present and absent at game sessions. Anyways, looks like this session might get cancelled again. I don't have to DM if you guys aren't willing to play so it's all on you and not myself.
