Is there a D&D game on today, man?
Yep, PMing you IP
Vampire on Vampire action is hot.
Wait, is it even necrophilia if both the err, participants, are dead?
Wait, is it even necrophilia if both the err, participants, are dead?
UNdead, surely?
UNdead, surely?
Minor details.
They're still dead, just magically animated or some bullshit like that.

If they're UNdead then it can't be necrophilia since they're, well, not dead.

But they are both dead thus are having normal dead-sex.
O lawd.
Okay so we were fighting a lich on the roof of this tower after defeating its guardians (Skeletal dragon, Secret of Vecna and a bunch of cultists). Suddenly it decides to bugger off - Casts a flying spell and uses a fear spell to panic the party.
I'm the only one to pass the will check with a natural 20 and so am merely shaken.
Seeing the Lich fly away, I make a last-ditch effort to bring that motherfucker down - Leaping off the roof (+15 jump bitches) and grabbing him by the legs, being paralysed instantly due to making contact with him.
My plan:
Best case scenario: My weight pulls the lich to the ground, putting a stop to his escape attempt for the time being - Hopefully some city guards would be there to help or something.
Worst case scenario: I fail to grab him or he shakes me off somehow - Even paralysed, as a dragonborn with wings I would float to the ground and take, at most, 1d6 damage.
What actually happens:
The motherfucking lich teleports away.
TAKING ME WITH HIM.
Number of times I successfully split the party: 2
but does it roll true?

You're just lucky you're not playing 3.X. You worst case scenario would probably look more like; "The lich casts quickened disintegrate."

I heard 'Dragonborn' and assumed 4e.
In that case, you got off easy. :v:

Reverse necrophilia time.
Alright guys, it's crunch time, school is almost done and shit is busier than ever.
So some things are coming up, ie I'm spending all Friday working on designing a control unit for my CPU course AND then I'll be spending the evening working on me 8 person C++ project with my group--also all day Saturday.
If you have questions you could hit me up on steam if you want more details.
Grimdark news fellow Pocketeers.
I have to cancel the whole game.
Not this session, no, every session.
I'm getting overloaded with homework and other bullshits and my finals are in just 7 weeks, so I gotta study.
I tried doing it once in a two weeks but now I just can't anymore.
Sorry.

Elias gets to meet the Emperor? Happiest day of his life!
Jekko and Nirrti now have a golden opportunity to loot the wealthiest city on the continent, however.

So no more Psychic Queen Bitch? Could you at least tell us what would have happened?
So no more Psychic Queen Bitch? Could you at least tell us what would have happened?
The plan (roughly):
Everyone would be revealed to have been part of an experiment at birth, and on the isle, you'd go to a research lab.
On that research lab everyone would get an ability after some time.
You'd go to infiltrate an hideout, uncover the truth about what has been happening behind the scenes (corrupt government etc) and after some bullshits (2-3 sessions) you'd finally do things (I have no idea what), then you'd go space (the ISS), launch a superweapon of some sort (to neutralize the threat, not destroy the planet) and "cure" everyone, including yourselfs.
This superweapon would happen to destroy/burn out/do something bad to the ISS, and because of the "cure", you'd die aswell, as you are mostly powerless, the abilities you'd gain in the campaign would turn out to be deathly after having relied on it for so long, yet it kept you all alive.
Without it, you'd die.
Perhaps if you guys did something Deus Ex Machina I'd let you survive, but you'll all die and people throughtout the world and history will know your name of the Heroes of Humankind.

Sounds cliched.
Yo don't forget that HellSoldier's game is in one hour~
Sounds cliched.
Good luck finding any type of PNP campaign that doesn't have a pretty cliche'd plot.
The greatness comes not from the deepness of the plot, but the interactivity that you have with it.
Also, our Monk dived into some water trying to catch fish with his bare hands, when our new player, who plays a Kobold Bard whom is not called Deekin, shoot's a crossbow bolt randomly into the water trying to hit a fish, forgetting the fact that his crossbow does lightning damage.
Game: Dark Heresy
Time: Sunday 25th, (3pm - 7pm GMT-6)
GM: Nitrowing
Players:
Negrul1 - (Scum)
IceBlizzerd - (???)
drunkenmoose - (Tech-Preist)
xxfalconxx - (Cleric)
Maximo13 - (Arbitrator)
Everything is set in place: We've got a story prepared, a time set up, most of the characters made, and a damn fine game ahead of us. Just wanted to remind you guys that the game will be taking place over steam chat so be on steam before it starts. If you can't make it, leave a message in the group page. Still waiting on Ice's sheet but as soon as that's done we are good to go for tomorrow.

Guess that's why I would suck at GMing...
[editline]24th March 2012[/editline]
I do have one campaign in mind, but It's of a modern Earth setting.

If you don't want to suck at DM'ing, then you are in step in the right direction.
Don't railroad, give them a small path and whatever in between you pull out of your ass, because your players are not going to do what you want.

My campaign is pretty much sandboxing the whole way through.
My campaign is pretty much sandboxing the whole way through.
That's the best kind of campaign, except when the players can't make up something to do, in which case it's the worst kind.

Like shooting electric crossbow bolts at a lake with a dwarf monk in it.

That's all fine and good, until said dwarven monk gets up and beats the living [del]man[/del] kobold shit out of you.
