Game: Dark Heresy Time: Sunday 1st, 12PM GMT-6 GM: Nitrowing Players: Negrul1 - (Scum) vinh255 - (Assassin) drunkenmoose - (Tech-Preist) xxfalconxx - (Cleric) Maximo13 - (Arbitrator) doomkiwi - (Psyker)
Game takes place Sunday as usual only this time I'm hoping we could start a bit earlier say at around 12PM CST rather than 3PM? Also I have yet to hear a peep from Iceblizzerd so he's either barred from the internet or just being plain rude; either way it leaves a slot open so at this point. Right now it seems that doomkiwi and vinh255 are both joining so consider the slot filled.
I'm just sad that it's not over Mic so I can't talk like a Psyker constantly. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to settle for torturing people with heal. And just so everyone knows, I pissed off the dice gods a while back sooo... FREE INSANITY POINTS FOR EVERYONE!
FREE INSANITY POINTS FOR EVERYONE!
Hurray!
I know its not D&D but some friends and I have been playing a Star Wars Revised d20 game and its pretty great. I used to DM for our group in D&D but I just didn't know the lore that well. Now, with Star Wars, I can use my wonderful DM bullshit powers to screw over my players even better since I know so much more about the Star Wars universe.

You probably know it already, but gotta say it anyway.
D20 Rules by ufisk for the ipod and ipad is only 3 dollars and has all the basic stuff for PCs and DMs as well as rules for epic, psionics, divine, some variant stuff. I think it's really useful as a DM just on my ipod and if you happened have an ipad I think it would be a nice alternative to buying the books. I'm not entirely sure but I believe it's based off 3.5e. Does anyone have strong opinions about Modern and Future D20?
Modern and Future are awful, however I believe spoony liked them. Take that as you will. Everyone I know ignores them entirely.
Our party is now the A-Team.
Our party is now the A-Team.
In that case, in my second session, I sold the A-Team to a bunch of guards.
And then on the first turn of combat three guards smash through a wall and a quarter of their archers get crit failures.
I joined my group late, and rode in on a giant falcon. I don't know why a falcon, and neither to they.
I am the fuckin Jesus. We would have lost the last fight if it weren't for me and my Enlarge Person. Our warforged fighter was dealing 20 damage a strike. We took down TWO dragons.
And then on the first turn of combat three guards smash through a wall and a quarter of their archers get crit failures.
So I take it Gerard got a few successes on using his Force Hammer?
Sooo I got into a new campaign with a new DM. He loves us so much he wrote a song about our characters... I Am the Paladin, faithful and strong, And I'm here to right every conceivable wrong, Never-mind if the party's evil all along, The point is I'm Role-Playin'! Now come my young Page with a dance and a song, oh it's time for some Campaignin'! I am the Cleric, filled with Holy Grace, But I die every time I hit them with my mace, The team calls me a bitch and slaps me in the face! It's me who needs the savin'! Well it's time to reroll with a new class and race, oh it's time for some Campaignin'! I am the Rogue, and I'm clever and sly, That's no shock since my Charisma is high, But I really don't care if you live or you die! There's treasure that needs takin'! You think I will help then I'm gone on the fly! You have fun with your Campaignin'! I am the Mage and I kill all you love, From the bright eyed young child to the symbolic dove, You ask A B or C, I'll burn all the above! Oh it's Chaos I love makin'! But I swear that I'm neutral they just gave me a shove, oh it's time for some Campaignin'! The four players gather from both far and near, For a game that's been going for over a year, As they sit at the table with snacks and some beer! Oh their glory is awaitin'! Then their faces turn to looks of pure fear! The last words that they ever wanted to hear! A Tarrasque has ambushed and attacked from the rear, oh it's time for some Campaignin'! Oh it's time for some Campaignin'! Sung to "Oh the times they are a changin". Yes I know we have the most generic party in history, it works. (I'm the evil mage this time around)
So I take it Gerard got a few successes on using his Force Hammer?
You killed everyone, but I made off with 300k gold.
Interesting DH session this time, guys. You stepped in a mans pie, killed him and his friends, looted their homes, nearly resorted to shooting each other, and then burned one of the rooms to a crisp. For those who missed it, I put a simplified session log along with awarded xp in the dropbox. Next session will take place next Sunday @ 2PM GMT-6.
It was indeed interesting... You know it's bad when the psyker acting in character is the most sane one of the group.
http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=360068 So basically, I got exploded by a dying evil sorcerer, and when i came back I was a Psionic with the ability to bend reality yes.
It was indeed interesting... You know it's bad when the psyker acting in character is the most sane one of the group.
Well, to be fair, it's not hard to be more sane than the guy that rips off a dead guy's head, sticks it on his own hand and starts talking to it like its a puppet.
The Vampire: the Masquerade game is still a while away...
Well, to be fair, it's not hard to be more sane than the guy that rips off a dead guy's head, sticks it on his own hand and starts talking to it like its a puppet.
That should never be a sentence ever.
That should never be a sentence ever.
I can't agree more. At least he didn't try to firebomb the entire team and shoot our tech-priest's head off though.
I can't agree more. At least he didn't try to firebomb the entire team and shoot our tech-priest's head off though.
It's a good thing THAT didn't happen! Because, if it did it would be stupid, out of character, and would be derailing to the entire campaign! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. You see my laughing? HAHAHA YOU CAN TELL IT DIDN'T HAPPEN BECAUSE I'M LAUGHING HAHAHA.
I can't agree more. At least he didn't try to firebomb the entire team and shoot our tech-priest's head off though.
D: I need to not miss the last half of a game ever again.
D: I need to not miss the last half of a game ever again.
Last time i missed the last half of a game the entire planet we were on exploded.
I just ordered 2e AD&D core books :V
Hey guys, I have an idea. Sensory deprivation (except hearing) for horror RPGs.
So I'm going to be DMing a 3.5 game soon, and I want to add in muskets. Does anyone have some good stats for gunpowdered weapons?
